I'm fighting some crazy controlled lights on my Funhouse. Almost every individual lamp is causing another one or two to turn on.
So far I've tried replacing every single transistor. When that didn't work, I swalled out the whole driver board but that didn't fix it. I have also swapped my LEDs for incandescent and replaced probably 25 lamp diodes. I'm not seeing any shorts or anything noticeable.

I started going through the Single Lamp Test and recording my findings on the first 20 or so lamps. I'll upload those and what you will see is the Green highlighted lamp is the only one that should be on. The red lamp is what is lighting when it shouldn't light.

I can keep going through the lamp test but all but 3 or 4 of the lamps are acting incorrectly.

I think I got this one figured out. I flipped the Ribbon Cable from the MPU to the Driver board and a new pattern appeared. I'll be ordering a new Ribbon cable and updating

Ok its not the ribbon cable. I tried different ones.

Do you think it could be a diode on the board somewhere? I've replaced most of them already under the playfield. I kept the diode in the same direction as it was prior but I suppose it could have been backwards this whole time and I'm just now noticing it but thats a little less likely

It is actually missing a diode. I was about to just comment that. I can't tell where one was ever installed.

When I disconnect it entirely nothing changes, the lights still go wonky. Not sure if that matters that its connected or disconnected

Ok guys, this issue has been solved.

Basically I looked at all the controlled lamps again. And again. I finally found the short. Sorry to waste everyone's time in this, nothing abnormal just a shorted light.

    Thanks for all your help!
