Quoted from MLmotorsport:

Hey all,
I'm starting to collect some new parts in preps for my FunHouse restoration. I'll probably just go ahead and replace the numeric display though the one that's currently in it is working just fine. I haven't seen anything but the orange numeric displays in person but wanting opinions on whether it looks best with the classic orange or if a white display (presumably with a blue color filter) from xpin or another brand is a better look. I know its subjective but I'm interested in opinions of those who have seen other colors on FH in person.

I've seen blue and I kinda like it.

Finally in the club after years of wanting one. Just love this game! Couple of questions for you guys:
3) Anyone have a spare original translite in good shape? Mine has a bad scratch

Get the mirrored backglass from CPR. It is gorgeous!

Quoted from jawjaw:

Didn't know there was such a thing. I thought they only had mirrored backglass for a few titles but there is a ton. Kinda pricey but bet that would look pretty sweet. Any fitment issues? Heard some people had trouble getting it installed and/or issues with edges. Any pics?

Unfortunately, I have yet to put it in the machine. I may just hang it up. I haven't decided yet. (I got it and the black & white glass for TAF at the same time. I don't have a TAF. It's stunning!)

I switched my translite for CPR's mirrored backglass. It is beautiful.

The seller had put Comet 1smd cool white bulbs throughout. I decided to switch the backbox insert to Comet's 2smd sunlight bulbs and included a mix of slow and fast blinkers in the 455 sockets. I think it looks waaaaaaay better.

Backglass lights off (sorry for the window reflection)

Im doing the exact same thing.
Did you use the comet 455 blinkers?
Did you install GIOCD? I thought it killed the blinkers.
Im installing GIOCD and LEDOCD.
I really want the dimming effects.

Yes. I used both Comet fast and slow blinkers.

I have not gone as far as to install GIOCD or LEDOCD, so I have no experience with them.

Awesome thanks. I have never gotten to Super Frenzy. Going to work on that now. I just added some color LEDs to the translite, blue and purple. Starting to look better.

Also, try to combine Frenzy and Super Frenzy. Time stacks to 40 seconds and 150k per switch. This is the time to shoot the pops. Don't tilt!

Quoted from AlexRogan84:

I know the time extends but I was under the impression it awarded 100k points per switch hit and not 150k.

To be honest, I'm not completely sure about the 150k. It very well could be only 100k.

Quoted from LitzDoc:

Would you please explain what it means to stack frenzy and super frenzy. I’ve heard the same term “ stack multi balls”. Apparently it’s very important in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. But I’m not exactly sure how to do it.

"Stacking" modes just means to get them running at the same time.

In terms of the Frenzies, set up the basic Frenzy by collecting the bottom step (when lit) which will open the trap door.
Set up Super Frenzy by completing the Mystery Mirror. (When complete, all the lights flash simultaneously and the scoop is lit.)
Shoot the trap door to start Frenzy then shoot the Mirror to start Super Frenzy (or vice versa).

Quoted from LitzDoc:

Is this considered stacking modes?
I got the trap door opened after making the shot on the steps. Then I continued to advance the clock to Midnight without shooting a ball into the trap door. Rudy went to sleep and I shot a ball into his mouth then I shot a ball into the trap door. So I think I had Frenzy going and Rudy's multiball going at the same time.
Is that about right?

No. Once you shoot the ball into Rudy's mouth to start multiball, the trap door becomes the Million Plus Jackpot (2m, 3m, 4m, etc.). Shoot the ramp to reopen the trap door for the next jackpot. Once multiball ends, the trap door should reopen to start Frenzy (the Frenzy insert will be lit). In order to stack Frenzy with multiball, you need to shoot the trap door first, then into Rudy's mouth to start the multiball.
