Just got a funhouse last week. I still need to clean it up. And do some tweaks. But overall it's in nice shape.

I like it more than I thought I would.

Just wondering about my inserts above the flippers? 3 on the left are orange and 3 on the right are yellow. They are original to the game.
Also some of the circuit boards are red.

Prototype? Or factory error?

I'm heading to Allentown does anyone have or know where I can get a trap door assembly?
Looking to buy one, but seems out everywhere.

Quoted from dsuperbee:

Spending quality time with a dremel and installing new ramps

Well I didn't have to use a Dremel.
Just a couple of plastics to put back in. And some cliffy ramp protectors.
And its done.
Now to find a new cellar door.

Quoted from dsuperbee:

DO NOT use contact cleaner in a pinball, unless you want to risk your game catching fire.

Contact cleaner will only ignight if it's left wet in a machine. Mostly in EMs where the relays make sparks or fumes can build up. But if you give it enough time to evaporate.
It's fine to use.

And there is this great non flammable stuff.

Quoted from dsuperbee:

Like spraying that crap in the head of a pin? Why do a bandaid fix instead of doing I think right the first time? Replace the tarnished pins, and call it good. Most of that stuff is designed for low voltage use, which a pin is definitely not.

True, but if you are just cleaning boards that's the stuff to use. Where I used to work we used that stuff to clean inside and the brush rigging and the front of the commutator on 550v and higher DC motors. And the circuit boards and switch relays inside the powerhouse.

No flame or fire issues.

Nope, I check those connectors and they look fine.. Anyone got any other ideas on how to make Rudy’s eyes open?

The mechanical plastic latch on the plunger. Or the eye hinge or where the coil arm connects?

Quoted from Scroat:

Anyone else feel that the 12 on the clock is not bright enough?
A friend suggested soldering an extra flex head led onto a flex head led to get more light.
Anyone else done this yet? I only had one flex led, which is installed on the lighted pic, and it did improve the appearance, but I suspect when I get another and solder them together it will fill the 12 out nicely

Awesome idea. Gonna try that this weekend. I will post pics when I'm done.

I was thinking it needed more light too. But adding another bulb never crossed my mind.
Thanks for the

Looks better in person. I just copied how the cointaker bulb was made.

Hard to take a pic in attract mode too.

But it's better than it was. I'm going to play around with it. And see if I can get it to be perfect.

Quoted from Scroat:

We’re onto something! I wonder if 3 bulbs in parallel would work? Your 12 definitely looks better. I’m not sure why the CT bulb has one bulb reversed, but did you do that as well or did you flip ?

Basically this.

Quoted from Davi:

See Erak's post #1067. The light direction is "up". If you bend CT led's, direction will be "down".

True. But you could just bend the bulbs to face up. At the leads on the led boards base. You don't need to twist them.

Quoted from Davi:

Is the Cointaker version flexible enough, especially the short neck?

Yup it is.

Quoted from Scroat:

I finally “fixed” my 12. I used three orange flex LEDs. You have to remove the clock Bulb panel to get the flex Bulbs oriented correctly, but it looks even better than the picture shows.[quoted image][quoted image]

Is that solider station this?...
WLXY JM-508A Multi-functional LED Magnifying Glass

I gotta get one with a iron holder and light.
That's great! I use this.

I no longer own funhouse. But I missed Rudy. His soul still resides in an amusement park.
That poor unsuspecting troll. I wonder what Rudy did with him? Lol
