do you happen to have the part number for the spools?

NOS funhouse key fob. 10 bucks shipped
Has anyone installed some Pinball Pro speakers? I’m having some issues with sound quality. Namely a muffled mid range. Asked the question a day or so back.

I gotta be honest. I think Rudy is perfect in his original state. One of the best pinball “toys” of all time. I wouldn’t mess with perfection. But I’m more of a purist when it comes to mods. Just my opinion.
Quoted from Nihonmasa:Hi guys, restoring my FH and would need some poxs of what's under the apron.
Would be very kind!
Don't expect too much

I actually like this one, but I would expect to hear things more like Chucky come out of his mouth...a bit more sinister and growly.
I think the airbrushed Rudy is amazing. When you turn Rudy into a clown - he wasn't originally portrayed as a killer clown so the artwork of Rudy and the theme itself no longer makes sense.
I think adding mods (LED's and pinblades/artwork) makes the game look newer and attracts more people to want to play it especially if you have several pins that are super bright (old Williams VS a new JJP) for instance. The old machines visually pale in comparison.
I installed super bright LED's and the GIOCD and LEDOCD boards - wow does that look fantastic and natural
I also installed 4+1 tower super bright warm white in the back box so the artwork doesn't look yellow and for the cherry on top replaced all flasher bulbs in back box with quick changing color LED's. It looks so nice.

I know LED's don't photo well, but pics?

I wish they allowed direct posting of video so you could see both in action.

As it goes..... I do. Mine is out for repair so I took some pics

Took the opportunity to change the battery holder with a remote one, but it's not saving sh*t so I mist have made an error.
Can someone point it out for me? [quoted image]
Obviously you got your "012" connector misplaces on J210
I am having an intermittent problem with a Funhouse ball shooter feeder. I'm not sure if this mechanism is common to other Williams games of the same era, but was hoping someone might recognize this problem. What happens is the ball seems to be ejected too forcefully into the shooter lane and then bounces back into the ball cradle. The machine then re-attempts to load the ball. This will sometimes continue indefinitely until I load the ball manually by just raising the cam on the mechanism. I cannot see anything wrong with the ball feeder: everything seems to move freely and I don't see any missing parts. This happens about 50 percent of the time. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For good measure take the striker arm off and clean the assembly - probably loaded up with old grease/crap and/or try changing the angle of the striker arm (bend it a tad) so there's less force striking the ball which will eliminate the bounce back. I had the same thing happening and after a little trial and error I got the right angle and the ball feeds every time now.
So after 30+ years of pinball ownership I finally picked up a Funhouse faded cab but new playfield installed plays great such a classic game! Is there any current source for the pop bumper decals?

Thanks for the advice, will give it a try!
And that will be I hope my last question...
The opto for the rear ramp was not working, so I changed it => same thing.
Unplugged from the board on the rear of the playfield => registering the opto (in test mode) but still nothing when doing by hand.
Went on with a few tests, and now the Jaw opto, which was working, is not working anymore...
Issue with the opto board?

Most likely, as I had the very same thing happen to me. I checked and double checked everything and couldn’t find anything wrong. Even the light beam would show up on my phone camera but would not register In test. Replaced the board and all is well.
Just did my first Rudy head surgery (broken wire on a left/right coil) such a cool piece of engineering.

Bay Area Amusements has them in stock for $11.00.

Crap how did I miss those? No worries a fellow pinsider came through with a set.

I had the same issue and bent the kick-out finger tip which gave the ball a slightly different trajectory into the shooter lane.

excellent! - but isn‘t that little table on the left kind of in the way?

Welcome aboard! Is that the HUO one that was advertised in town recently? If so, that was a GREAT deal!
If not, that's still a great looking game.

Wellcome!!
Looks beautiful
Why you don't use the height regulation on the back right leg??
I finished this awhile back, never posted pics. It was my first spare no expense get as close to perfect as I can restore. There are a handful of imperfections, but I'm happy with the results. There are definitely some things I would have done differently knowing what I know now, but I'm not sure I have the time or patience to tackle something like this again. Maybe when the kids are out of school.

For no expense I feel you missed adding the GIOCD and LEDOCD boards. Kind of almost mandatory for a FH with full LED. Allows GI to dim for midnight multi ball and smooths out over all LED performance. Super nice build btw. Does the speaker upgrade actually improve the sound enough making it worth the additonal expense?

It was! Though it turns out it wasn’t HUO but they did have it in their house since ‘96. I’m not complaining, it’s in good shape!
Quoted from branlon8:excellent! - but isn‘t that little table on the left kind of in the way?
I moved it back to the right a bit after I took this picture. There’s now enough room to play.

Thanks! Our studio is quite old and the concert floor slopes away a bit in that corner. The back left leg is almost fully extended, that with the wood gets me up to 6 degrees. I suppose I could leave the wood off the back right leg but it wouldn’t match

+1
FH makes use of GI dimming as its main event. Plenty of pins can get away with no LED dimming, but FH suffers from not having it.
I'd also like to know if the speaker upgrade was worth it. I put a Flipper Fidelity system in my TAF and quite honestly it doesn't sound amazing, although the extra bass is nice.
