I don't even own a FH but I'm still very interested in this!

Quoted from Frax:I like how manufacturers now think they have to explain FOMO to us.
Well it's rule #1 of sales so.... don't expect them to stop any time soon!
Quoted from TechnicalSteam:So if you don't like the voice.. you know what you can change that with Pinsound....
Sure, let me just re-record a bunch of custom voice samples that sound like the original voice and change each individual callout in the Pinsound software! Easy!
Quoted from insight75:Am I missing something? With regard to how you choose which version you want to play......wouldn't it be as simple as: Press start....screen says "Press left flipper for 1.0 or right flipper for 2.0" Done
When you already have a menu up, sure it's easy. The main question was how would you bring up this menu if you are already playing 1.0? So FAST has already responded and said that their hardware can do this with a long press of the start button. That's all, I don't see any issue to worry about.
Quoted from jawjaw:Game choice is on game bootup not when you start a game. You would have to turn game off and back on to switch. Sounds like they are working on way to hold start button for long time to prompt selection. My guess is game has to go through some kind of different bootup process and not that simple to bounce between 1.0 and 2.0.
Sounds simple to me. When in 2.0 - do a long press of the start button (or any other button combination determined by the new program) to enter the menu. This is brand new software so can be coded any way they see fit. When in 1.0 (unmodified original software running via emulation)- do a long press of the start button and the FAST pinball controller can recognize this as an event which can trigger the game selection menu.
Quoted from AMSNL:Thank you for the info, as we already stated here a few pages back there is no game select at the moment, you have to turn the game off and on fast is working on that as they said.
I thought that Fast said their hardware is already capable of doing this, so it would need a code update to enable the functionality. I don't think Fast is writing the game code.
Quoted from Mando:I see I guess I should reword the question .. will the game have the fading of gi and Inserts without it ?
1.0 will not. 2.0 will.
