Going on location this weekend.

Quoted from dirkdiggler:Damn Dan. Wish I had a Calgary trip planned. Hopefully Arkadium will have thiers by the time I make it there.
Thoughts on it so far? How's the original version play?
I like it better then the original for sure.
Haven’t played the original version on this one yet though.
I need to know how to set up the 2.0 part of the game to take coins.
I can get the regular version to work, but not the 2.0
Won't be able to put it on location tomorrow unless I can figure it out.
Help, Thanks.
Quoted from pins4life33:Send it to us we don't need no damn coins.
Code update for coin op coming on Monday
I’ll keep it for now, lol.
Quoted from AMSNL:It’s time to play ——> Have Fun Everyone!
If I had the coin op code in mine, it would be on location already
Any Beta testers out there that want to share the latest code with me.
Pedretti keeps forgetting to send it.
Nitro Pinball and I are waiting for it.
Thanks
Couple of complaints so far on the 2.0 version.
End of game it doesn't let you choose a new version to play.
Once chosen on a game it stays there, for now.
No auto plunge on the game is a big one for newbies.
Constantly need to be reminded to plunge the ball, during multi ball.
I did turn up the volume on the game so players at least hear it to plunge the ball.
Game got confused a couple of times during a game.
Had to put a ball in the shooter lane.
Match doesn't actually give you a credit.
Makes the sound but no game awarded.
Sometimes with a credit on the game, it doesn't let you start it.
Need to turn it off and on again, pick a version and then hit start.
All said and done, well liked at league today.
I'm sure all these little things will get ironed out with code updates.
Quoted from AMSNL:Thank you for the info, as we already stated here a few pages back there is no game select at the moment, you have to turn the game off and on fast is working on that as they said. Auto plunge is a main topic also as discussed and answers are given. So There is no need to complain about that as we already have those noted and we are doing the best to see if that can be achieved .
I will check about the credit/match part today with the programmer and test a bit myself as well and get back to you on that
I really want to hear what you and your friends/attendees liked about the game
Please Keep in mind that you wanted to be the FIRST on location with the game. So unfortunately you also get the bugs
If there is anything else we can do,please let us know
Have fun!
Oh I’m not complaining, just feedback from the players.
I get it on early code.
I’ll give more feedback as I get it.
Quoted from AMSNL:pingod there is a new code coming to you soon that fixes your coin problem and the match credit, if there is anything else please let us know .
Thank you, much appreciated.
I’ll give more feedback from the players probably Wednesday night.
Live gameplay stream! Be sure to tune in to twitch.tv/mooremoney on Thursday, March 10th @ 7:30pm MST for live gameplay of Funhouse Rudy's Nightmare featuring the latest code updates with new modes and scoring. Eric Moore and stream facilitator Dan Horne will be streaming the game live on location. This is the first Funhouse Rudy's Nightmare on location in Canada (and possibly North America). See you then!
Special thanks to Tommy Floyd from Nitro Pinball, for the loan of his personnel game
If there is another code update by then, I will try to have it in as well.
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:I just finished the install and have one issue. The HDMI cable that goes from the mini display on the playfield to the Pinsound board....how long should it be?
Mine is long enough to connect as it should, but it's not long enough to allow me to lift the playfield or lay the head down. It could easily be another foot longer at least.
For what it's worth, this kit is one of the early ones that got sent out to an op I'm helping out.
The one in mine was busted off at the board in the head.
I bought a 6' HDMI to replace it.
Lots of slack now.
Quoted from Bay78:I’ve been playing it quite a bit both 1.0 and 2.0 since last night. In 1.0 it’s working 100%. And in 2.0 I think I’ve found some issues but would really like other peoples opinions etc. I’m finding quite a few times the Rudy opto hit isn’t registering. I’ll be in the million mode and hit it and sometimes when the ball is kicked out for the lock and I hit Rudy it’s not registering. And again works 100% in 1.0 and in tests in both 1.0 and 2.0. Also I seem to think there is an issue after lighting Steps and shooting the ramp and diverting the ball to the steps shooter. When it drops over the switch in the Outlane on the way to the shooter it makes the sound that it makes when you drain. But ball does make it to steps. And then when I plunge it it again makes the drain sound and when it hits the steps switch it doesn’t do anything. I did read to make sure the switches are all working right which again I did in both 1.0 and 2.0 and in test menus in both. Are other people noticing this?
I have the same Rudy issues with mine.
I think the steps sounds as well.
I can look into it more now that it’s back home.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:How'd it do/comments on the game otherwise? Should I talk nightsearcher into it or?...
The game was well liked, for sure.
The display is all screwed up on it right now.
You can't read the scores properly.
Had to pull it out, not good for league play.
If you can't see the scores.
I can't find anything wrong with it either
Quoted from boustrophedonic:My kit came with a bad HDMI cable. Could be that others might have the same problem.
I tried swapping with another HDMI cable.
No change, reseated everything more then once.
I did have a broken HDMI going to the mini display, when I got it. New one there and no issues.
Quoted from FrankJ:I put in quite a bit of time on mine this weekend. No idea what my scores were, and some of the modes didn’t make much sense. Please, “powers that be” at Planetary figure out how to send me a replacement display for my dead one.
Thank you!
Quoted from movingpictures:The right side of my display just took a dump. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’ve tried resetting connectors:[quoted image]
I had a bad display on the Nitro borrowed Funhouse as well.
Received a new one last week. All good again.
movingpictures I had the same issues as you, only worse.
Pedretti sent a new one pretty quick too.
Went too Nitro first, then on to me.
Quoted from transprtr4u:I'm curious as to what the next 2.0 will be... ?
Eartshaker, lol.
