Interesting. Looks expensive, though. Following.

Quoted from roar:BOP 2.0 is listed at €2,175.00... and that didn't come with a backglass or PinSound. So it's got to be north of that, no? That kit also went on a game, at the time, was "reasonably" priced. When BOP 2.0 first landed you could grab yourself a BOP for a fair price and end up with much more. How much more can you squeeze out of a Funhouse? It has always been at the top of the range for that era of game, I'll speculate that this kit is likely to push Funhouse's well into the $10K+ market.
I've seen many already listed for $10000+. This kit has to be similarly priced. Probably a bit more. That's a lot to sink in an old game like FH. At least for me. I love FH but don't think it's a $10000+ game.
It would be cool to have more speech and interaction with Rudy. Love to have a mode where he taunts you and heckles you for missing shots.
$2000 not too bad and promo looks great! I prefer the original voice but new one is well done. Does the kit allow you to play classic code?
Quoted from DanQverymuch:I am glad I don't have to worry about FOMO. I'll probably get the kit eventually.
I've never been an early adopter.
No FONBF for me!
Same here. I like to at least see how it plays before buying.
Quoted from sven:I can see your view, but I can see wanting to have some kind of idea how deep or versatile the new rules are before buying, without knowing everything.
That said: I really like this development.
Exactly. I would like to see how Rudy is used and if new modes look fun. Code makes a huge difference if game fun or not.
Quoted from Skyemont:What are FH prices going for right now? Average??
Prices seem to be all over from low $5000 to over $10000.
Quoted from Lhyrgoif:Cmon, drama much? How often would a player go back and forth between 1.0 and 2.0 in a single playsession? Rarely imo.
Also, pinballs are rugged machines that can handle a lot of beating so powercycling the game a few times is a non issue, don't make this into a problem it isn't please.
I bet 99% of players will want to experience the new 2.0 version and not the 30 year old code they are tired of anyway.
Right. Hardly a big deal to reach down and flip the switch. Takes only seconds to boot up. However, why cannot there be a game select after hitting the start button? Game can default to 2.0 but give user option to select 1.0 using flipper buttons within a short time period. If game was routed, I would think the operator would want to have both options available for coin drop.
Quoted from insight75:Am I missing something? With regard to how you choose which version you want to play......wouldn't it be as simple as: Press start....screen says "Press left flipper for 1.0 or right flipper for 2.0" Done
Game choice is on game bootup not when you start a game. You would have to turn game off and back on to switch. Sounds like they are working on way to hold start button for long time to prompt selection. My guess is game has to go through some kind of different bootup process and not that simple to bounce between 1.0 and 2.0.
