Here it is 2022 - no more excuses to knock out my Funhouse restoration. Hope to get this to tinker with on list but no news yet.

Think I'd opt to keep the original artwork...

Otherwise I'm all for adding another dimension to mine as I've played the hell out of 3 I've owned over they years.

Think the cost and ease of use may hinder many of us. I know of a plugin that will render text to song.

There is also alot of grey area here.

Anyhow someone can Mod the Pinsound down the road if they really really wanna

Anyone run into an Issue where.. Funhouse 2.0 just keeps reseting.

Game will boot up.. Show 2 screen selection screen.. Restarts and goes to a Error Scren.

Then just resets over and over and over again. I got no clues. Game worked 100% before I installed.
Seemed very straight forward .

Thanks for advice, working with support now to troubleshoot issue.

The issue I initially ran into was - due to the Start button not having the correct wiring.

New issue is that the game is emptying out all the balls from trough. On start.
Anyone run into this issue.

Once I figure this out.. I want do a PartyZone 2.0 ( rules ) wonder if I can get a blessing from anyone to try.

I'm going to rate Funhouse 2.0 as tentatively 10/10. The kit and support are all top notch. Despite the issues (I resolved that were mostly mine ) support was very responsive and helpful and even taught me a thing or two. That said I'm not played it a whole bunch to know if there are holes in game.

Managed to get everything working and trough issue sorted for a minute think the switches just need cleaning as trough started to sense balls as I played.

Needless to say Funhouse is my favorite game of all time! Got me thru some rough patches back in the early 90s.

Thanks for all the help here. I'm going to have to invest some time in the FAST platform and see if I can do anything with some of the games I have sitting around here that are not currently being played.

While I have a Trough issue: It does say Plunge ball from time to time .. nice touch not sure if that is just because my switches need tuning or you have to plunge on multiball...

Just be Patient - PPS is a good company and be confident they will take care of you.
I just wish I could get some FAST boards to start some side project.

Funhouse 2.0 continues to work well here / but soon it will be dismantled.

The restoration work on this machine has began in tandem with my PartyZone. Going keep it alive until I need the wiring harness and Rudy Mechs.

The machine I converted has well over 100k plays and while it has good bones its way overdue for a complete restoration. The
original PF got pretty beat up so have a restored DiamondPlate going in. Going to the extreme and breaking out ultrasonic for all
the mechs and deep cleaning the baked in grime.

Can't wait to share the end results.

What's the word on the Funhouse 2.0 AutoPlunge kit? Is this getting released. Saw a tease about it but haven't found anything on the websites cointaker, pendetti, or planetary about it yet.

Anyword on the Auto Plunge kit for 2.0?

Is there any possibility to open source Funhouse 2.0 and crowd source help?

Is there plans or diagram on how to build a plunge kit to proper spec?

WTF?

Is there a knowledgebase anywhere with info that is not hard to search pinside.

I just tried to update my previously working Funhouse 2.0 to the latest version.

I tried both Mac & PC..

The update runs fine.. When it resets I get the Screen.

I was able to resolve. Found the Pendretit Customer Support and opened a ticket and next morning had answers.
Turns out you must update the SdCard and USB card to run this update.
Problem fixed this morning.

Now I just have to figure out why my Start button is messed up. My guess short in switch matrix as it is intermittent working.
Sometimes restarting or adding games mid game. It's a new mech just haven't gone thru all the checks yet.

WHY? When playing Funhouse 2.0 do balls randomly kick out of the trough?

This doesn't seem to be right.. It happens alot any ideas?
