Cash is hand is key! I've picked up nonworking EM pinball machines for $75 knowing its going to take TONS of TLC to get it working. But rerubber, lots of cleaning and fixing can turn in to $400 or more! Take that money, and buy a dead SolidState and keep working your way up to your "keeper". This is one reason why the Iowa Pinball Club's website has the sell your arcade game to home game room enthusiasts (Looking for pinball, skee-ball, big ball bowlers, puck bowlers, pool tables, air hockey, neon signs, etc.) section.
Plus its a great feeling when one of your members tells you that they picked up that Revenge from Mars games submitted to the site!
