A little fun with Space Shuttle. Believe it or not, it’s not the transistor with the hole in the board I need to replace. Need to replace Q83 for a dead pop and put NVRAM in. Once I got the board out and was able to take a good look at it. I’m kinda wondering out load here. SS doesn’t use all 6 special transistors. Could I do some wire switching to use the unused trans (Q85 pin IP-19-9 8P3-22) instead of the burnt trans? Would I need to change any other wires?
Disclaimer::::: This is not my work!! LOL.
