Has anyone received any tech support recently from Heighway? I have tried to contact Helmut with no response now going on three days, nor any response from the general support email address. My game has an intermittent problem with the game freezing up requiring a reset. All of a sudden the game will just freeze, flippers die, the ball drains and then the game just sits there. After a reset I can play several games with no problem and then out of the blue the game freezes up again. I have reseated all cables and so far nothing.

Thoughts?

Quoted from Tsskinne:

Interlock switch?

I will check it, thanks. I have already replaced the interlock switch once for a different reason. My biggest concern is that I can't get any help from Heighway, not even a response.

Quoted from frolic:

I have had to power cycle my game a few times. Not regularly, but there's never been a problem that I haven't corrected with a cold boot.

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones

Currently, I have a problem with Full Throttle locking up during gameplay for no apparent reason. Checked all connections, can't recreate the problem. Happens about every 4-5 games. Reboot the game and it is fine. This would be very inconvenient at home, on location it is unacceptable. Helmut is attempting to help with this latest problem, but initial response time was nearly a week and a half.

Anyone have this pop up post get knock off by the ball like me? Not sure how to fix this any help would be great. I put it back in but it just popped off again?!? Is it broken? Where would I find this out?

That plastic post is attached to a metal plunger underneath the playfield. You will need to replace the whole piece, that part should be readily available. I broke a couple of those when my game was on location.

Quoted from waldo34:

Thanks for the feedback, I'll mess around with it tonight.

No trouble making the right ramp. I did raise the right ramp with some washers and any problems making that shot went away. Flippers are plenty strong as is, one of the best parts of the game.
