Yeah, I know this is a real long shot.

I pre-ordered STLE from two different distributors because I was fearful after the METLE debacle I would miss out. Well, with everything that has been going on, I'm in line for both of them. Before I cancel out my order for one I thought I would at least float this out there.

Who knows, maybe someone with a TRON LE (or maybe something similar) doesn't want to spend any cash but wants a new STLE.

If nobody bites on this, I'll simply get my refund back.

I'd think that you would have to add about $2k cash on top of STLE in order to get a Tron LE owner remotely interested in this trade.

And no, that wouldn't work for me.

Nope. I don't really care anything about getting a METLE. It looks like a pretty cool pin but it is just low on my radar.

Y'all do realize that I had no expectation of this actually happening, right? I agree with Tiger, though, and if somebody had wanted to I would of course obliged.

If nothing else, this has given some folks a smile instead of debating ST pricing merits or WOZ.

Trade Met LE for BBB??? Well, if your referring to me I hope you do realize that my offer was also including like $7000 or $8000 in cash along with the MoPLE for BBB? Not sure which 'flipper' your referring to but if there was someone offering a straight trade for BBB... yes, that's crazy but the only ones I seen offered up were including plenty of cash... and now the rest of the story!

BTW, my Kent State Golden Flashes covered so you owe me big!

I just want to know if someone trades a TRON LE for a Star Trek LE is it considered a "charitable donation" and can you deduct the $2K-$3K "donation" on your taxes....LOL !!!

Sorry, I couldn't resist and wanted to throw out some "CPA HUMOR"......hey, I just traded my AC/DC premium NIB for an IM which wasn't exactly a great trade (on my end) so I guess anything is possible. However, you were talking hundreds there and I received a pin that was HARD TO GET (IM) so I didn't mind giving up a little extra money. HOWEVER, in this case the pin hard to get is the TRON LE as I believe you can still order a ST LE so truly it would make sense for someone to sell their TRON LE for $10K ++ and just buy a ST LE and USE THE EXTRA MONEY TO BUY THE WIFE A NICE GIFT (nothing like scoring "brownie points with the wife"...."happy life is a happy wife"....LOL !!!).
