Every tournament FT I've played has only featured lightning flippers.
There was a FT I had access to on route that I played a lot of, but it had regular flippers instead of lightning. As a result, I often struggle in tournament play on FT. All the shots are at different spots on the flippers.
So my vote is lightning.
