Putting up my very nice MB in trade for a Tron LE. I've owned Tron LE previously, and I miss it, so I want to try to get one back.

Would much prefer being able to do a trade locally. I'm in SoCal.

Pics to follow.

Thanks Jim. Laying down the gauntlet is a good way of putting it, as it is exactly what I feel I'm doing.

I actually had an offer to make this exact trade previously, and by the time that I made up my mind to actually do it, he (understandably) proceeded with another deal.

#4 12 years ago

man I love MB...it's my own personal holy grail...never played a TronLE. Good luck with your deal

#5 12 years ago

Man, I played a TronLE and it was not all that. Another drunk post?

#6 12 years ago

If you decide to sell your mb outright I would be very interested....good luck in the hunt. It seems like everyone is after a torn Le these days.

#7 12 years ago

Why are you doing this to me Rob?
MB is my wife's FAVORITE game... (next to LOTR)

And you are local!

The irony here is that LOTR and MB are my wife's favorite pins too. Also sold my LOTR LE....another pin I regret selling.

It hasn't been an easy decision, that's for sure. See my prior post where I already missed out on this trade possibility once by waiting too long to make a decision.

My wife wants to see pics.

#12 12 years ago

I'm with you! TRON LE is an awesome game! Better than MB IMHO. Good luck.

#13 12 years ago

i dont think i could trade a Tron LE for a MB with ANY kind of Drac or Mosh Pit wear. seems like a great A for an A trade though

Need to update pics, I have some really nice LEDs in the backbox that really bring out the colors

Overall this pin is in very good condition. There is some wear in the Creature Feature kickout and some minor drac track wear (which is common).

Mixture of various LEDs, including many NoFlix Plus in the inserts.

i'll trade you my tron pro ( with all leds and shaker motor) plus my DH (with playfield replacement) for that MB.

there' isn't even wear on frankie?? great lookin pin, good luck with the trade.

#18 12 years ago

good luck Rob. You have owned Tron LE before so you know what you're getting.

#19 12 years ago

Good luck, hope it works out for you Rob. If you would rather have a Tron LE that is all that really matters.

#20 12 years ago

wow gonna have to play tron LE with how big of stiffys people have for it lately

#21 12 years ago

Good show old man; and good luck!

#22 12 years ago

Damn, all these MBs are up for sale/trade and I bet by Summer there won't be crap available. Arghh!

#23 12 years ago

Thanks Rob for everything... (Pics, etc...)
Are you sure I can't interest you in a minty fresh IM NP:LE instead?

Playing Tron LE is similar to taking the Z for a spin. Exciting, crazy fast and leaving you wanting more.Tomorrow I should get right out of the Z and play a game of Tron. I may explode!

Ditto!! Keep the MB and just be patient for a Tron L.E. to come around, they will patience is key!

I think the optic light tubes must be filled with crack cocaine the way people are jumping at the LE's for the crazy prices they have been going for lately. My only regret is selling it before the prices for it went crazy.

IM is a better game then Tron LE. But I can understand the fascination with the light show.

Agree!

Played TRON LE recently and not feeling the love. Apart from the colored ramps I prefer the black trim on the Pro. For some reason TRON LE is the 'hot' pin of the moment. MB will be a hot pin for years and years to come I think.

#31 12 years ago

Unless you have the opportunity to play a Tron LE that is dialed in, with low lighting conditions, the sound cranked up around 35-40 and an external subwoofer you cannot truly appreciate it. Once you do you will understand.

Owned one and while I think the ramps were cool I don't think they are $3500-4k cool. Played a pro model with a sub and shaker lastnght and it was fine but still didn't think the gameplay was that great. Decent game but not what I'd wanna spend 8k on.

Boy Rob, what a shocker. Didn't I tell you something about MB over at the bash and it wouldn't last long???

I just bought a Tron LE outright.

This means I get to keep my MB!

Have to make room though, so will probably be selling my Congo.

#35 12 years ago

Congrats! I love both MB and Tron LE so that was a tough call, but Congo is a worthwhile sacrifice.

What would I need to sacrifice in order to get that BBB out of your hands?!

Still own them both.

#44 11 years ago

LOL reviving your own thread.

Tron LE is an an awesome game. I just traded away a mint HUO Avatar LE and a mint HUO IM for one, and I don't regret it at all.
