Putting up my very nice MB in trade for a Tron LE. I've owned Tron LE previously, and I miss it, so I want to try to get one back.
Would much prefer being able to do a trade locally. I'm in SoCal.
Pics to follow.
Quoted from McCune:Laying down the gauntlet! Good for you and good luck ,seriously !!
Jim
Thanks Jim. Laying down the gauntlet is a good way of putting it, as it is exactly what I feel I'm doing.
I actually had an offer to make this exact trade previously, and by the time that I made up my mind to actually do it, he (understandably) proceeded with another deal.
If you decide to sell your mb outright I would be very interested....good luck in the hunt. It seems like everyone is after a torn Le these days.
Quoted from Wickedquickss:man I see a repeat in regret on this one to!
It hasn't been an easy decision, that's for sure. See my prior post where I already missed out on this trade possibility once by waiting too long to make a decision.
Good luck, hope it works out for you Rob. If you would rather have a Tron LE that is all that really matters.
Quoted from TaylorVA:Man, I played a TronLE and it was not all that. Another drunk post?
Man, I played MB and it was not all that.
.. imo.
Quoted from dvandentop:wow gonna have to play tron LE with how big of stiffys people have for it lately
Playing Tron LE is similar to taking the Z for a spin. Exciting, crazy fast and leaving you wanting more.Tomorrow I should get right out of the Z and play a game of Tron. I may explode!

Ditto!! Keep the MB and just be patient for a Tron L.E. to come around, they will patience is key!

I think the optic light tubes must be filled with crack cocaine the way people are jumping at the LE's for the crazy prices they have been going for lately. My only regret is selling it before the prices for it went crazy.
Quoted from NimblePin:Thanks Rob for everything... (Pics, etc...)
Are you sure I can't interest you in a minty fresh IM NP:LE instead?
IM is a better game then Tron LE. But I can understand the fascination with the light show.

Agree!
Played TRON LE recently and not feeling the love. Apart from the colored ramps I prefer the black trim on the Pro. For some reason TRON LE is the 'hot' pin of the moment. MB will be a hot pin for years and years to come I think.
Unless you have the opportunity to play a Tron LE that is dialed in, with low lighting conditions, the sound cranked up around 35-40 and an external subwoofer you cannot truly appreciate it. Once you do you will understand.

Owned one and while I think the ramps were cool I don't think they are $3500-4k cool. Played a pro model with a sub and shaker lastnght and it was fine but still didn't think the gameplay was that great. Decent game but not what I'd wanna spend 8k on.
Quoted from PNBLWZD:Congrats! I love both MB and Tron LE so that was a tough call, but Congo is a worthwhile sacrifice.
What would I need to sacrifice in order to get that BBB out of your hands?!
Quoted from RobT:I just bought a Tron LE outright.
This means I get to keep my MB!
Have to make room though, so will probably be selling my Congo.
Congrats! Very cool game!

Hey! If you remember that is was number 225, that must mean that you loved it! You have it memorized by *heart*!

Congo is sold.
Quoted from RobT:Still own them both.
God damn it Rob!!! I saw the thread title and got excited...
