Last week we had an unsolicited, but reasonable offer from a pinsider for our machine. However there seems to be some heartburn on their end due to the high international shipping costs, so it looks like the sale wont happen.

That being said, since the idea of moving the machine out of the collection has taken root, I would like to see what other machines could be offered as part of a trade. Cash is available on our end to level out a trade, if necessary. No other machines are available on our end.

We plan on going to the Houston show (November 8-10), but we won't bring the machine unless a deal is struck in advance.

The machine plays very nicely and is 100% complete with all of the correct, original manufactured parts and it appears to have been well-maintained (past and presently). The machine was fully shopped out within the past month with new rubbers, ball guides and bulbs.

It does have the typical minor paint flaking, specifically (and only) in some of the reds in the backglass. The cabinet is good overall but it does have some intentional scratches on the right side of the main cabinet. The left side looks better than can be expected. Both sides of the head look good and the metal backbox cover is present and in good shape.

The coin door is in pretty good condition but has some oxidation (?) and the right edge is slightly bent from what appears to be a weak-ass attempt to pry it open at some point. The playfield glass is in good shape and the legs are good but could be buffed out if you have the time or inclination.

The playfield paint is in good condition with some discoloration from dirt. There are no real signs of planking or even more than a minute amount (ie specks) of paint loss.

None of the above shortcomings were enough of a concern to us when we bought it, as this game is not super easy to find, especially in the more-than-presentable level of condition as this example. The lower flippers are strong enough to hit any of the upper drop targets, and the chimes and scoring work as they are supposed to.

Early SS machines such as Medusa, Centaur or Xenon would be of great interest as would some other 2 or 4-player EM's. I am also a fan of system 11 machines (see my profile) and would entertain a Black Knight 2000 among others. A Gottlieb Black Hole or Spirit (you know who you are ) would certainly be of interest. Some DMD machines could also work.

We are specifically not interested in an Earthshaker, Judge Dredd, Dr Who, TOM, AFM, TOTAN at this point.
