Fuse f113 blows on power-up.
Quick look at where this is I'm guessing I've got a bad bridge rectifier. I'll really troubleshoot tomorrow because I'm enjoying the olympics right now, but I'm guessing that's a good start.

Put in a new fuse and pull all but the looped red/blue white connector on the right side of the board .
If the fuse blows your bridge is short .
Why not simply do the diode test to BR2. Then you will know if it is bad or not for sure...

Thanks for the ideas fellas. Unfortunately I woke up with a stomach bug. Good thing I have Presidents' Day off.
Got a short across two legs of BR2, just as suspected. Someone has already replaced BR1.
Thanks for all the advice.
Replaced BR2 tonight with my newly aquired Hakko 808 desoldering kit. Turned on pin and at first it didn't start. LED's on the board came on, but the game didn't boot. I ended up putting a bad fuse back in f113. D'oh, not sure how a bad fuse ended up in my 5 amp new fuses. New fuse installed and it fired right up.
Saw that someone had replied to this old thread. Glad it helped you get your pin back up and running! What did we do before the internet?
Quoted from msj2222:My T2 is blowing F113 on power up. How do I test BR2 to see if that's the cause?
