Hey guys, thinking of putting my Whirlwind on the block for trade. It doesn't get enough play. I am in Saint Paul, MN.

It is in really good condition. Not HUO, but very low plays from what I can tell. Has an original play field, with little to no wear.

Things I have done:
-New CPR Plastics
-New CPR Backglass
-Rock Custom Pinball interactive undercap lighting kit
-Interactive topper lighting
-New topper
-All new rubbers less than 50 games ago
-New playfield glass
-Cliffys on both scoops and the inlane ramp drop
-Pinbits plastic protectors
-New Disk decals, with the correct bumps
-New pinballs

I am looking for the following games, +/- Cash where applicable.
CV, TSPP, LOTR, FT, WH20, others??

I would consider selling outright if there are no trades, but would be looking for $2700. I know this is steep for an original WW, but this is one of the nicer originals I have ever seen.

webfart? You still have those killer stairs? I seem to recall a good friend complaining about moving a black hole out of your basement...

Quoted from lapean111:

The cpr backglass is the mirrored one, correct. Pardon my ignorance. I assume you'd say translite if you meant translite. Also wondering what the scoop areas looked like prior to cliffy-ing (that isn't a word), if you have pics. That being said, i'm not taking them off so...

Ah, who the f am i kidding... tire kicker bump.

#17 9 years ago

Scoops are perfect under the cliffys, don't have pics though. It is the mirrored back glass.

Found a scoop picture from pre shop out.

"what did you trade for" bump

Dave really wants it but he just has a IM for trade........ See Dave. All you have to do is just say it. The rest will fall into place.

Trade pending guys. Thanks, will update if it falls through.

#28 9 years ago

congrats. I'm not sure what i was thinking. This is my favorite nostalgia game and looks to be in the best shape of any i've seen that haven't had a new playfield installed. Bad timing, i guess. excuses, excuses. I could have met the infamous webfart in person, too. Nobody knows what i'm talking about...

#29 9 years ago

Haha, we like to keep that quiet...I mean, whatever you mean....

It's funny, only a couple offers, then deal made, now many offers. It's how it goes. Ended up trading for a nice WCS94. We are making the trade next week, will let everyone know if it falls through.
