Plenty more pictures are here...
http://www.vidiotarcade.com/pub/Star%20Wars%20Episode%201%20Pinball/
The later the pictures, the more current they are.

As you can see, LEDs have been added to most of the play field and a RGB LED strip has also been added to the head to make the translite colors really pop. Speaking of translite, the biggest negative to the game is the translite looks to have vertical "crack like" lines on it. But you can only see these when the machine is off. Once the lights go on they magically disappear(have a look at the pictures).

Since I have taken ownership of the game, I have...
- cleaned and waxed playfield
- cleaned and waxed the ramps
- cleaned outside of cabinet
- installed new rubbers(missed one but it will be included)
- replaced a few cracked plastics with NOS plastics
- rebuilt both flippers
- fixed one drop target and cleaned other
- replaced defective neon transformer for light saber
- cleaned fans in P/S and on CPU heatsink(will include new CPU fan)
- installed network card(will probably be removing before sale/trade)
- installed new round top plunger
- installed red cabinet protectors
- installed gold t-molding(have a look at later pics)
- installed video amplifier(monitor colors now "pop")
- installed new black leg bolts
- added some black construction paper to help "black out" monitor area on play field

Still needs to be done...
- new arch decal applied(included with game)
- one pop bumper assembly body needs to be swapped out(included with game)
- pop bumper skirts need to be swapped out(included with game)

Overall the game presents itself well. I am not one who is into "collector quality" games so I doubt this would be up to some of the standards people set here, but it is a solid playing game that has been gone through.

As far as trades... BSD would be awesome! We have a MSF and X-Files that I've always thought a BSD would look great in between.

Other than that, I dunno? Take a look at the pins we have and if you have something you think would compliment them let me know.

I'd also sell the game but I'd need ~$2350 out of it to break even so I'd rather just do a trade. Feel free to shoot me an offer and I guarantee I won't be offended... and I won't just ignore you.

Your translite looks awesome!

Any trick to the translite lighting swap? I'm thinking of doing this myself.

Thanks. I'll post a couple pics of the LED strip after work tonight.

Bump. I've had one trade offer and one person interested in maybe buying it but nothing concrete.

Pictures attached.

As you can see, nothing fancy going on. The pictures show how I just used the adhesive backing to zig-zag the RGB strip behind the translite. The white box is the RGB controller and the white wire going up from it is the infrared sensor for the remote(which is faced towards the front so you can use the remote). The power supply is an extra 1A(1000mA) wall wart I had extra here from a camera or something.

Being traded tomorrow. Thanks for the other offers.

What are you getting for it?

Never post details until the trade is complete. But tell us when it is!

Traded it for a Batman Forever plus cash.

I sold the Batman to the owner of Robot City Games in Binghamton last year and even though it was only 15 minutes away, I missed having it here. We did the swap Friday afternoon and I swear the SWE1 has been getting played almost non-stop since. While I was there for a couple hours today it was being mostly played by 13-17 year old girls. Really neat seeing it get played so much.
