While I know I might soon regret this, I do want to at least test the waters...
I am interested in mixing up my lineup and want to add a WOZ (preferably LE) either HUO or NIB soon to be shipped (February / March will suffice).

My LOTR LE is a gorgeous HUO example and has under 500 plays (409 to be precise).
No broken plastics. No cosmetic blemishes to point out (aside from the typical wear on the lockdown bar).
All Cliffys protectors (& felt leg protectors) installed.
Shaker motor installed.
Mirror blades.
LEDs throughout.
Jays Palantir Mod (just installed).
Shire Stickers (just installed).
Ring shooter rod and speaker panel inserts.
Mike Chestnut plated side rails (with flipper button covers - NOTE: there is no wear underneath and I have the original rails if you prefer - as such I have not screwed these down on the sides).
Game is clean, although it is next up for a thorough tear down / wax, so there are some spots with more dust than I like.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but here are a few pics to do a little more talking.
Please PM me with your offers or if you have additional questions.
Mike

Nice looking game,I just sold my Woz LE,and kept my Lotr LE
I think you might want to consider the Hobbit to go with the Lotr LE.
Good luck

Have you played ST yet?

#5 10 years ago

Forget it. See you Have one.

Why would you compare ST to one of the best Stern's ever made? Oh wait, the hype is still strong on ST, I forgot!

#7 10 years ago

Interesting trade. I'm a bit tempted

#9 10 years ago

Ditto..
'Shoot the blinking light' got real boring for 6 modes...then six more modes.

I know it's early code...so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now

Here's a bump for the OP..GL

Oh wait I forgot pinheads can't love their newly acquired pins as much as older pins that have a lot of clout in the community.

Back on topic, good luck finding a trad LOTR is one of the best pins of all time you should be able to find a way to get something done.

I thought the LE came with a shaker motor. Nice pin btw.

Im pretty sure the game didn't come with the motor installed. It was just prepped for it.

Edit: It didn't. http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=5558

Good luck with your trade btw!

Thanks, sammiesguys. I hope you're enjoying your ST.

All, I appreciate the kind words. I am definitely concerned that I will miss this machine and won't be able to find one as nice should I decide to purchase again in the future, but I want to try out WOZ and JJP for that matter.

A LOT of bites already, but nothing locked in as of yet.

#14 10 years ago

Thanks sammiesguy. My LE has a shaker. I am glad it was added before I bought it. BTW I used to live in the 'Burgh. Great place. Love the strip district.

Thanks for the link. That is great info on the game. Is there anywhere to get a rules sheet or strategy sheet? I am playing the game but I am quite lost. Only had it for 5 days or so. Thanks

#16 10 years ago

The shaker was an option for the LE. I believe that much less than half had the shaker factory installed.

#17 10 years ago

PM sent.

#18 10 years ago

Shaker was an option that I added through Automated at the time……..ahhhh yes, the good old days when i could pay 5250 for an LE with shaker!

#19 10 years ago

Is it hard to get the figures for the plastics? or the original Translight?

Figures come up very often on ebay. It's like a good Easter egg hunt but you'll find them.

Just search for: Lord of the Rings Armies of Middle Earth Figure sets/Figures

Sorry to hijack your thread Molspin, but at least this is relevant. Here's the rule sheet:

I have a whole set of the original figures available.

Don't like the beard cock?

#25 10 years ago

I hate that backglass but the rest of the pin looks beautiful.

I believe I've answered all PM's. If I missed you, please let me know.

I've had quite a bit of interest and hope to have a deal struck soon. That said, nothing is set in stone as of right now and I'm still considering trade offers to see if that 'perfect fit' might still be out there.

Because so many of you asked, here are some additional photos. I let some light in to my game room to take a few more pics. The machine really is beautiful!
