The mirrored backglass on the LE is stunning for those that have not seen an LE in person. GLWS

Haha I love how the dick pic is cropped. Great machine and solid price. Wish I was richer.

LOL! Didn't want to sour the sale I guess.

Here's for all you Pervs out there....

#11 9 years ago

I think with LOTR you have to post the ball times with the number of plays to get an idea of use

I kid of course. Would love to have one some day as it looks like a fun pin. Never played a nice version so I'm hoping someone local buys this from you.

Rumored prototype backglass

Excuse the ignorance but did the LE come with the shaker installed or just wired for it?

You had to install it. Didn't come with it.

Just wired - did not come with.

Some came with it. Mine did.

Hahaha a thread where Kaneda MIGHT be able to add value. Nowhere to be found...

#23 9 years ago

I had to add the shaker.

Sorry just been bummed out as my LOTR is still down and getting someone out to help is gonna cost a lot. Think pin looks nice. Would obviously love to see close up pics of the shooter lane, the wood around the shire and areas where cliffy's would go. Also are those gold or silver mirror blades? The first thing this pin needs are the figures, which now seem tought to get and LOTR looks better sans LED. This price is right around what I paid for my LOTR LE. Great pin.

I respectfully disagree. All those that have seen this machine in person compliment the difference with LED's.Pix do not do justice to the difference.Ya' gotta' think outside the box sometimes !

It's a matter of opinion. I like the warm richer colors with this pin. Some like the LEDs more.

Warmer? Sure. Richer? No. LEDs are way "richer" in color than incandescents. That being said, you're right that incandescents look better in LOTR than LEDs do.

First time for everything. I agree with Kaneda. Purple and blue do NOT belong in LOTR.

To the future owner of this pin: Pluck those color bombs, get this thing back to its natural golden splendor!

"To the future owner of this pin: Pluck those color bombs, get this thing back to its natural golden splendor! "

OK with me.Somebody buy this and Rescue this machine....

What color are the mirror blades?

Yeah its funny, everyone complains about the original Hobbit playfield being too drab, then turn around and complain about color LEDs in LOTR.

They can be gold or silver, or other colors. So yes

#37 9 years ago

Are you buying a second one? Are you interested in buying this one? If not why do you care? If you're not buying, stfu! Your insistence on injecting your horseshit in every for sale ad is getting tiresome. Get a new schtick. This one is played out.

To the op, great game. I'm soo close to pulling the trigger but Christmas is a bitch on cash flow.

#38 9 years ago

Now I am curious too, what color are the mirror blades? I have a set of silver that I was going to put in a High Roller Casino but didn't before I sold it and was debating if I was going to put them in my LOTR or not.

Also, looks like a great example of this game from the few pictures in the thread. I would love an LE backglass for my standard.

I have the figures that I'll let go if anyone is holding off getting this machine because of that.

Never seen a gold set, interesting.

Agree. And the Purple LEDs are a total gack, aesthetically. This pin has warm earthtones. It's not a neon circus. If you want to tastefully modify the lighting on a LOTR, try some yellow and green incandescents. Purple LEDs? wtf??

#42 9 years ago

The Mirror Blades are Silver.

#43 9 years ago

If somebody wants to buy this machine, then I would be more than happy to put the stock bulbs back in ...once payment is received. It's not that difficult to do... really.Until then, I will enjoy the LED's as I and many others that have seen this game in person, have liked.
I really don't think it is worth all this uproar .Rather silly really .

To me the LED colors are more like starry night aubergine. I like aubergine and find it very tasty, specially with a garlic/yogurt sauce.
GLWTS, beautiful pin

#47 9 years ago

I want this so bad! I just don't want to pay for it! Ahhhhhhh!!!!

#48 9 years ago

When I was deciding whether or not to put LEDs in my LOTR, someone called LOTR with LEDs "Lord of the Rave", hehe. Cracked me up...obviously I am easily amused.

Anyhow, would love to own this but about 2 times my current pin budget for my next machine.

GLWS!
