Very nice and clean Zaccaria Devil riders.

Pics are here

I'll get some pics of the inside of the cabinet as well. Underside shines like new chrome everywhere. Plays great. Displays crisp.

$2300. Located in SE WI. Need to clear out some space so she has to go. Wish I could keep it but I can't. One of the nicest DR's i've seen. If it wasn't for the 2" chip on the one corner, it would look practically like HUO.

here's a couple of pics. More on the way.

super C@@l pin, GLWS

#4 7 years ago

I'd be more than happy to store it for you, rent free.

And it would be nearby, so you could visit it.

(glws)

#5 7 years ago

well you could come over and visit it now, since you live near me. Better do it fast because zacs don't seem to stick around long when I put them up for sale.

#6 7 years ago

here's with the game on. Displays nice and crisp. All working great. Backglass is backlit with the neon. Hard to tell from the camera flash. Very nice glass and insert.

Cool side art

Since you introduced me to Zaccaria pins I really respect the unique design, artwork and rules. These pins are really underrated. GLWS a really cool looking game there.

I truly love this machine, even in Europe here they are not that easy to find. Allthough they do come cheaper here. Think i'm gonna play mine now.

GLWS! Yours has a very nice backglass and cabinet. Well actually the whole pin looks like its in a really nice condition!

#12 7 years ago

thank you. It is an exceptional example. If you saw the underside of the playfield pics, they look like brand new. I just have to take some. It's kind of cramped here right now. Hence why I even have to sell it. Wish I could keep it as it's going to be hard to find one as nice as this down the road.

some interested parties but nobody has pulled the trigger yet.

#14 7 years ago

WOW - love this thing! First one I ever saw... I've been looking for an EK but this kills it.

I love the cyclist loopy thing in the backbox. That's a pretty cool feature. Backbox animations work perfectly.

How does Devil Riders compare to the other Zaccaria titles (fun level, longevity in a collection ect..)? Anyone care to rank the Zaccaria games? Not a lot of info out there. Thanks

#17 7 years ago

i have owned it twice - it is a decent game - i have only owned farfalla and devil riders - i liked farfalla better because of all the targets. devil riders is a fun game. you have to love how you can save the ball from the outlanes.

i think they were called react flippers - or some weird name - it is a neat feature. quality wise i think it is well built with great artwork. i always struggle with the sound - i did not like the sound on zac games.

they are nice to have in a collection. sadly i think i sold mine for $600 a few years ago. don't read anything into that price though as years ago mystery castles were 800-1000. times have changed.

thanks ed

Quoted from gipinball:

Devil Riders is a fun game, but I wouldn't place it in the same tier as Farfalla, Magic Castle, or either of the Pinball Champ games. I would even place Robot, Clown, and Mexico 86 ahead of it. Get some play time on it before you buy. All of the Zacs had some cool playfield features like disappearing bumpers, or raised ramps and playfields, very unique designs. Whatever they used to protect their playfields worked great as most Zacs don't show much playfield wear. Some of them do have insert issues, more on a game by game basis. Zaccaria made some beautiful, colorful games.

#19 7 years ago

Well the coating they used was some clearcoat. That's why the playfields held up so well. But they were suppose to be using it because it was making the workers sick from breathing it in. But man those playfields hold up nice.

#20 7 years ago

I love the Backglass! Cabinet art is cool too! I have only played a farfalla and it was a fun game.

#21 7 years ago

I love the 3d formed backglasses they have on all of them.

#23 7 years ago

It seems I have a lot of people on the fence on this game. So if your coming here, playing it and picking it up in person. I'll do $2100 on it. If I have to get it ready for NAVL or palleting. $2200.

#24 7 years ago

Good price. I saw a non working beat up project DRs machine sell last year for 1200 cash. I really feel like Zaccaria and their use of ramps in the early 80's pins single-handedly changed the way ramps in pinball were used forever.

#25 7 years ago

same with pop up heads. I think NGG and MM pop up animals were taken from the heads in Robot.

#26 7 years ago

I will be available this weekend for those that are interested in coming and looking at it.

#27 7 years ago

Wish I was closer, I'd love to see one in person.

#28 7 years ago

well i'll be here all weekend if you want to do a road trip.

#30 7 years ago

Looks like a really neat game! GLWS! I hope one of the guys I know over there in WI buy it so I can eventually come play it!

#31 7 years ago

well its' here in WI right now. You could come and play it right now.

#32 7 years ago

True, but then I'd be tempted to buy it... hey...wait a sec, I See what you did there.

Burlington to my Town : 5 hours 9 mins.. Yowza.

#33 7 years ago

well you could make the trip really worth while, because i'll have a Time Machine available for sale soon as well.

#34 7 years ago

Is that the one @ MGC this past time? That game was really nice lookin if it was! Neat how the pop bumper area moved up and down.

#35 7 years ago

No, that was Korns. but it's the same style of game. Yea, the upper playfield with the moving playfield is pretty state of the art, especially for being 83. Zaccaria was always thinking out of the box compared to what anyone else was doing at the time.

#36 7 years ago

i'll be available this weekend if you want to come play it. Even if you just want to see it without actually buying.

#37 7 years ago

Just stopped in to pick up a project Neo was working on, had a chance to play this one, man this game plays well and looks great. Wish I had extra room to set this one up. Should move quick to the right person.

#39 7 years ago

game has been sold. Thanks to all that inquired.
