FS: Xenon near Chicago

Added: November 12th, 2019 Ended: November 26th, 2019
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Item description

Beautiful Xenon pinball. Game has been refurbished and works and plays 100%

New Altech MPU installed. The other circuit boards are original and have been professionally serviced.

We have rebuilt the flippers, repainted legs and added new leg levelers.

Whole playfield has new rings, bulbs replaced, new balls, all switches and coils tested. New locks installed.

Game has been in a private collection for the last 20 years. Rarely do you see a game so clean. All paper tags inside the head are all still in place. Under playfield is very clean. All signs of a game that has very few plays on it.

No wear on playfield. Cabinet is nearly flawless with a small ding by left hand flipper button. Still very good condition. Backglass is perfect. Displays all strong.

“No wear” I see a lot above top saucer inserts? But still overall nice example. Glws. Great pin!

Nice looking game, a little confused about the "professionally serviced" boards when all of the 40 year old caps are still present on the SDB and Sound board.

#4 11 months ago

Why is there a hole in the playfield left of the middle 2 pop bumpers? Is it missing a post?

Yes there should be a post there.

Please see: "OK"
If the board says it it must be true

Boards were sent off to the Pinball Wizard in Michigan (if you go to pinball shows he sets up a booth there). I did not do the board repairs myself.

After taking a closer look. You are correct it is missing a post. I will put one on it.

The only wizardry was taking your money and not updating the boards with new caps as they should have done as part of the repair.

Its actually missing two. One to protect the spinner and one left of the tube entrance.

Nice looking game. Glws
