Well I hate to do it, but after 14 months I am ready to sell my original, first pin, the one that got me into this hobby. I have my eyes on a Grand Lizard and this is the only one in my collection I am willing to sell to work towards it. This is the same High Speed that was at Pin-a-go-go this year (the only one) and is battle tested and ready for action. I am asking $1050
- Game plays great and I have received many compliments to its overall performance and feel.
- Good looking playfield, some wear in the typical places (ball drops, return lanes, etc) but overall pretty decent for a HS. Mylar appears to be factory and there are some bubbles under it, over the larger inserts.
- Backglass is in great shape and no flaking.
- Plastics in good shape, appear to be missing a few palm trees and I think there is supposed to be a helicopter. Replaced the traffic light plastic assembly with a new one and installed LED's behind it to prevent future melting. Ramp has typical cracking (see photo for light leaking thru) but there is no impact to game play.
- Displays are in great working order, no issues
- Under playfield has custom LED pattern that brings out the true traffic light colors and brightens the insert colors. Backglass has frosted white LEDs installed.
- Boards are in good working order and have been recently worked on by a pro (sound issues and some minor light issues). Battery holder is off board.
- Flippers have been rebuilt (minus the coils and switches) and everything plays strong. There appears to be a capacitor (spark arrestor I think?) that has been disconnected from the right coil but I am not sure of its purpose or how it is affecting the game (right flipper appears to be fine).
- Siren lamp and motor for siren are in good working order
- Cabinet is structurally sound but bondo/paint is definitely needed (see pics). I touched up the right side of cabinet with paint pen and it made a big diff (as seen in pictures). As you can see in the pictures, there are bolt holes on front of cabinet and the door needs painting. However, the coin mechs are there. No cash box.
- I have a set of Cliffy's for the ball capture and for the outlanes, just need to be installed.
