I think this is one of those games that in a home environment, gets better. Restored, they look stunning. Having now played every top 20 pin, WH20 is as much fun as any and more addictive. A timeless classic.
I am thinking of restoring mine as it is one of the very few games that is a real keeper but it will be expensive. That said, PDI glass, new ramps and p/f would be real nice
I've never seen a WH2O that had any significant playfield wear. Mine looks perfect.
IMO the game has one of the nicest playfield designs ever, but it suffers from software that is not as impressive. I wish someone would remake a P-ROC software plugin for this game and give it the depth it deserves.

Mine has some minor planking. From what I have read, it is not uncommon on this game.

Didn't bother me none, when we played yours. But I can see why a serious collector would be bothered.
I had someone offer me 3k for mine at the Michigan Pinball Expo, but I couldn't part with it just yet. I love the game, and it's not going anywhere until I beat the bastard.
Whitewaters seem to have an issue with the up playfield planking. Since you cannot purchase only the upper most people have to replace both.

Thats actually the first thing I noticed.
Quoted from Cam:
A pinsider up here shopped out a WH20 with new ramps, plastics and a pf. He recently sold it and it only lasted a couple days on kijij and sold for $4800. The game is definately going up!

I didn't even see it, Cam
