Up for sale is a very nice custom Data East Jurassic Park. $2850 and located in Springfield, Mo. This is my fathers machine and I am posting if for sale for him. He is 'flyfisher' here on Pinside.

This machine has been gone through and has had some restoration work done, along with some custom mods. Custom powder coated armor and clear coated cabinet to name a few. The playfield is in very good condition aside from one issue noted in the pics by the right outlane. The kickout holes have been completely repaired, painted and new cliffys have been installed. The T-Rex area has also been repaired and repainted. Machine was shopped 5 months ago. It is complete and has the original topper, which is in good condition. The ramp had a crack in the entrance but that has been repaired and reinforced with a custom metal bracket. It is very solid now and the crack is no longer noticeable.

It has the following mods/etc.
-Custom yellow powder coated armor and coin door surround.
-touched up and clear coated cabinet
-All LEDs in GI and inserts
-Custom interior side art blades
-Spot lights added to brighten up center of playfield
-Shaker motor tuned up and secured. Extremely quiet but rumbles good. It is quieter than my AC/DC shaker
-Several custom dino toys mounted on the playfield
-custom painted palm trees added to playfield
-custom painted T-Rex
-Upgraded cabinet speaker
-custom lighting on mosquito/amber piece

The game plays great and is a lot of fun. It is hard to find these in good condition. It is a great looking machine and needs a good home

Please feel free to ask questions. Trade offers considered, but I honestly do not know what he might be looking for.

Would rather not ship at this point.

*EDIT* He has told me that he would consider a nice Indy 500 as a trade of some sorts.

oh oh pinporn.

Very nice looking pin. GLWS

outlane post is the only flaw I could see in pics. Saucer does not look to have seen any action

#4 9 years ago

Wow. That looks very nice!

#5 9 years ago

Impressive. Newman I see you on the play field taunting me to make an offer. I'm not going to do it Newman.

That and the chip in the t-rex's lower lip...VERY common with JP.

Noted, I hadn't noticed that before. I figure most people will be replacing the t-Rex once winteriscoming's awesome mod comes out. Also I guess I should note that the t-Rex is adjusted and works great.

I have played this recently and it is a very nice machine and in great condition. GLWS!

Very nice looking game. JP is a great game and this one is beautiful. GLWS.

Absolutely. Looks like great JP!

If I hadn't picked one up a few weeks back, I'd be all over this one GLWS!!!!!!!!!!

#14 9 years ago

This looks like one of the best condition JPs I have seen. Should sell quick at this price.

#15 9 years ago

I sure like how you cleared the outside of the cabinet.....looks great.

Thanks, really if it had a clear coated playfield it would be just about perfect in my eyes. We just weren't set up to clear at the time he worked on this game otherwise it would have been cleared as well.

#17 9 years ago

Just going to add that my dad said he would consider a trade for a nice Indy 500.

what sucks is that post by the inlane/outlane isn't even suppose to be there at all. The playfields are dimpled for it, but never installed from the factory, because ball times were too long with them in. Dimples were there but not used.

Maybe so, but the game is more fun for us mortals with them in

#21 9 years ago

yea, but now you trashed the playfield to install it. that's not an easy fix. Otherwise the playfield looks great.

He didnt install it.

still there regardless. If you take the time to paint the Trex saucer might as well fix the thing that really is damaged. to put in all this time and effort to make everything else look great, and have this big damage point, really takes away from the overall game.

It wasn't like I was trying to hide the damage. It is there, people can decide if that is a deal breaker or not.

#25 9 years ago

I didn't say you were. I'm just saying it's a shame you put all that time and energy into all the rest of the game and have that staring you in the face.

It is in a spot that you don't see while you are playing, so saying it is staring you in the face might be an exaggeration.

Anyways, we have a deal pending for the game. I will post here once it is wrapped up or has fallen through.

#27 9 years ago

it's one of those things, where once you know it's there, you can't stop looking at it. True most people will not notice it except the owner.

Nice JP! Love the cleared cab, he should wait for the new code!
