Someone gave this 1983 beige TI-99/4A to me in non-working condition. Original box included. The RF modulator died and I made a temporary video cable to test with. There are issues with the RAM or some other logic that causes digital artifacts on the screen. Sound seems to work. You will need a proper A/V cable to get sound. Computer only, no other accessories besides above mentioned video cable and power supply.

I have replaced the electrolytic capacitors and installed a new thermal pad on the video chip.

Make me an offer please, as I'm unable to repair this further. Will ship mainland US. As-is. No guarantees, returns, or refunds.

    Quoted from The_Pump_House:

I had one of these back in the day

Yeah, the person who gave it to me bought this one for $50 at a KB Toys clearance after the video game crash. Looking back at the receipt, he couldn't believe it was that cheap.

Mcdonalds used them as modem controllers or some sort of data processor gear back in the day.

    Nearly every Mcdonads had one.
