TSPP for sale. Game works and plays great, from my personal collection. Routed. Boards look clean, no playfield wear. Cabinet is decent and pretty clean inside. Someone did some touchup by the flippers buttons, I planned to just cover it with full side rails. Flippers are all nice and strong, everything is working.

Only issues worth mentioning that I can think of, the shooter rod needs to be rebuilt with a new sleeve or something, it plunges weak by hand. There is also a check portals tech alert at power on, yet the switches in question always work perfectly fine when playing a game, so not sure what that is about.

Pretty typical TSPP in decent all around shape and just a fun pin.

Game is located in Gardner, MA
Shipping VIA NAVL is fine.
If you have any questions or just want to talk shop, send me a pm

Thanks, James

Nice looking game.

Looks nice!

I always thought the back box side art was one of the best ever made for a pin. I love how they worked the cat and dog out the way they did. Creative genius from TV show to Pinball machine. Gotta love it. GLWTS Shack.

I'd like to bring back a TSPP to the collection sometime

Have you ever had any issues with the upper mini playfield flippers, or any issues with the garage door?

Also, have you ever performed a diagnostic test of the check portals tech alert?
Does the credit dot stay on even after game play?

#8 10 years ago

A droopy garage door is a service bulletin to increase the strength of the coil. Never heard of issues with the mini flippers. They are just regular flipper mechs with a a different flipper bat.

No, upper flippers have always worked fine, and garage door has worked well too. I have run diagnostics and it will say a list of switches to check, but in game they all test out/score just fine. I don't think it's running the latest roms, I will have to check, but not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

It looks like a reimport (judging by the coin door and transformer splice), so perhaps it's running a different/legacy rom set? I'm really not sure, but that could be the issue.

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!

I suspected by the coin door that it was, I will take a closer look around to confirm.

Okay, here is an update. It is a 2003 TSPP, and it did some time in France, (according to a label on the line switch) It is the cleanest reimport I have seen.
I am also open to offers.

Thanks, James

What color is the car on the PF? Pink was from earlier runs, red later runs. This one looks red, but could just be lighting. In my view, pink is more authentic to the show, and is what I would prefer...but that's just me.

Btw...machine has custom apron cards!

#14 10 years ago

looks more red to me, I've had about 4 or 5 TSPP over the years, so I've had the pink version too. It never seemed to matter what color the car was when I was trying to lock 5 balls during alien invasion lol (hard as nails)

Thanks, James

Someone tipped me to try a factory reset on the switch error, which may take care of the problem. I may try that and see if it works. I never bothered with it because the game always played fine in game- it just alerts you at power on.

#16 10 years ago

This shouldnt last long....

#17 10 years ago

Did the factory restore and played a few games and the diagnostics have gone away. I'll have to play more to see if they return, but so far so good. I also hand tested every switch in the game and all worked fine.

The cpu rom is 1.03 and the display is 4.0
This really needs to be changed anyway, as there is a 5.0 cpu release

#18 10 years ago

there up to 5.00 cpu and 5.00 display for the roms

#19 10 years ago

At least it's just 2 ROMs. Not too bad.

#20 10 years ago

And it's only $15 for both, cheap!
