#3 11 years ago

great sttng. gonna buy it Rommy?

#4 11 years ago

Selling already? Didn't you just spend a lot of time on this machine putting it back together? Was it not to your liking? I kind of feel like that with mine. I waited so long to get one, loved playing it at shows, but when I got it home, I couldn't get into it. I find myself playing it the least unfortunately.

#5 11 years ago

try adjusting the settings to your liking or choosing a different "start" option with the flippers/new ball to re-new interest

What! How can you speak such blasphemy?

I have certainly seen worse looking star treks for more. Nice game for who gets it!

#15 11 years ago

I would take trade also ,RBION,BBH,FYG,TSSP,POTC

#16 11 years ago

Great price for a nice machine! the gun needs some blue

#17 11 years ago

Im not usually a fan of color powdercoated trim, but on this pin it works. Nice game tat! Too bad I'm running out of room and money. I'll hold out until you sell another CV

#18 11 years ago

Saw this STTNG in person, was pretty impressed with the clear job done by tat.

#19 11 years ago

That STTNG looks sweet, Purchase with confidence! Tat is a great seller...

The 2 pins I purchased from him last month were as described... Brain Kelly restored CC was better then new and HUO CV was truely mint with no ghosting at all.

That powder coat is certainly different. I'm always cautious to do mods like that just in case I decide to move it later, I hate losing money on mods!

Awesome job on that playfield, for the price you're asking that's a great deal.

#21 11 years ago

You could always sell the rails/legs to a Road Show owner if you don't like it. Nice machine, Tat.

#22 11 years ago

Looks so good!

#23 11 years ago

Why is the STTNG hiding in a corner and not in your main game room?

#24 11 years ago

lOOK's Good , but the Blue ,,, Good Luck !~~!

#25 11 years ago

STTNG is at my work because I have no room at home.

#26 11 years ago

Nice looking STTNG, personally not a fan of the blue legs, but the rest looks fantastic. Its hard to believe its not sold yet.

#27 11 years ago

how did you clear that, Tat? Varathane in a can? How many coats?

#29 11 years ago

Auto clear with a spray gun at my auto shop. Dupont chromo 7600 clear. 4 coats .sanding between all coats.

#30 11 years ago

very tempting. thanks for the update.

Whew. If he said yes to this, the value would have dropped significantly!

A spray gun with auto clear sounds just a tad better.

#32 11 years ago

Buy from tatman with confidence. He's one of the good guys!

Ummmm, huh? Value would have dropped if varathaned? I am guessing you are joking?

Bump for your sale Tatman...

Why would you think he was joking? Isn't a quality auto clear a lot better than Varathane?

A quality auto clear is more durable than varathane, but the "value dropping significantly" seems like a silly statement. You may see a difference of about $100-300 for a PF finished in auto clear as opposed to varathane, but I am not sure I would qualify that as significant.

#36 11 years ago

Ah, so you only took issue with his use of the word "significant"? Gotcha.

#37 11 years ago

That is one beautiful STTNG Tat!!! It's great to see someone put in the effort to pimp out such a classic pin. Hope it finds a good new home.

I'd say up to $500 difference, and yes, I would call that significant. I'm not just talking about auto clear vs varathane either, but being sprayed with a gun vs can. I'd be much more willing to pay more for a nice pf with an auto clear properly applied than one that had varathane applied by can. There really isn't much comparison between the two in my opinion.

#39 11 years ago
