In early March I bought a new home and also bought an IM and this SST. I was caught up in pinball fever. Now that I've spent over a grand on mods for IM and have plenty more yet to buy I have realized that I am just a one pinball guy for right now. I have spent a bunch of money on this new house and have to find some funds for the landscaping now.
This pin is fun as hell. SST is my favorite movie and its cool as hell but it needs a new home. I paid $1800 for it from a fellow pinsider and had it shipped from PA. I'm not going to jack the price up to give you wiggle room so I get the price I want. It's not a pristine machine, it's 17 years old and has its flaws. It needs some TLC but its still a great game in overall above average condition. The right side is rough, the left side looks great. Flipper wear on both has been covered up by black paint/filler. Price is firm.
I bought a badass custom Brain Bug shooter rod from Brock, donated to a pinsider to get some custom instruction cards, added some LEDs, new pinballs and rubber floor protectors. Has original manual which I will include of course. All small stuff really.
The previous owner stated he had just replaced the DMD before he shipped it so its practically brand new. He also stated he put in a second speaker and put in new super bands as well.
