The game condition is ‘nearly completely original’. Probably new bulbs or rubber over the years, but otherwise original.

This is an excellent example of original Scared Stiff. If you want to replace with LEDs and mod it up - here’s your blank canvas !

This game was part of a small collection that has been in the same house since ‘98.
They played it quite a bit at the start, but since about 2000 - it’s been played on it’s annual checkup and battery swap (there was a hang tag on the coindoor with battery swap dates). This is from the friend of the guy I got the one I sold last week!

The Good:
Playfield is in very good shape. Clean and very shiny with fresh wax.
Everything works. The spider spins, deadhead VUK kicks, coffin MB works (see video)
Deadhead and spider VUK are in good shape - not all chewed up (photos)
Backglass and light tub have no scratches and are very clean.
Has Red LED eyes in skull pile
Cabinet body is in great shape.
Boards are in great shape.
Shooter lanes shows use, but not excessive play or routed for long.
Slingshot plastics are very good condition - small crack in back of right side (see photos)
DMD is bright and doesn’t have any burnin.
Good playfield glass and very nice legs.
Includes original manual.

The Not-so-Good (but not that bad, but here’s are the things I noticed)
The head has some scratches that have been touched up (pics)
Small wear spot in front of the crate (see pics) has mylar.

The ramp above the spider hole has a crack on the left side. it’s still stable and is very common on this machine.
The right ramp has a small area under the bulb that is humped up a TINY bit. I cannot see it impacts game play at all.
There’s a small crack on the back of the right slingshot plastic, but the plastic stays in place and it’s not noticeable unless you really look.

It’s in the garage and ready to play / test and load.
