I got quickly overwhelmed with PMs. If you didn't get a reply from me, I'm sorry you did get one from this round. I'll post when I have more available.
Thanks.
Looks very nice indeed. Very well played!
Quoted from Gunner:Just missed out. Looking forward to second run.
Quoted from Tekman:I have nine more sets ready to go. Shoot me a PM if interested.
All those that want them PM the OP 12 hours ago he said he had more ready to go.
I'm going to do another run in about a week or so, and possibly for the last time. If you want one, PM me and I'll get you on the list. I cannot guarantee everyone on the list will get one and will have a cut off at some point. First-come, first-served.
Thanks.
My list is full and no longer taking requests. If anyone backs out, I'll post what stock is left in a week or two. Please, no new PMs at this point.
Thanks.
I just finished the last run tonight. To all the people who made it on the list, look for a PM tomorrow with instructions.
Thanks.
Damn, just seen these now. Sad I missed out, Australian customs probably wouldn't allow it though. Zzz. Great work OP!
Just curious as to why you would stop selling a product with high demand? I am asking because I want a set.

Me Too!!

Seriously, I'd like to order two sets for buddies of mine who are nice enough to let me play their machines. That is a great price point for a very cool mod to get as gifts for friends.
Any chance of one more run OP?
Classy looking mod. Well done. I could see a lot more potential for sales if you ramp up production again.

Sorry, I missed this and had already PM'd ya. Please disregard my PM and have a good evening.
If you do another run, I will buy one. If anyone bought one they aren't going to use, please pm me and I will buy it from you. I just ordered my AC/DC yesterday, so I missed the chance to buy these.
Seems to be a lot of demand for the product. Hopefully OP reconsiders and makes another run or two. If not, congrats to all who acquired this very cool mod!!!

Or at least let us know where he got that wood.
Can someone measure the little piece that these are supposed to cover? It looks like it is probably 1/2" from pics of the machine, but I can't tell for sure. I think SealClubber is probably right about it being balsa wood. I want to try it, but I need to find a local source. I can get a lot of balsa on Amazon, but I can't find just one piece to play with. lol
OP, if you have any intention of rerunning these, please let us know here. If not, I will have to try to get creative, which could be dangerous.
Just got mine today and installed them right away. They really improve the look of the bell. Could not be happier. I hated the way that the bell looked with the bare metal showing. The entire playfield is vibrantly colored and lit up with color changing led's and then you have this swinging bell with bare metal exposed??? WTF Stern?? Design engineers couldn't figure that one out?? Anyway....... The mod looks great!! If you can get hold of a set, I highly recommend them.
I will not be doing another run.
If you want to make your own, I used the following:
Hobby Lobby - Natural Wood Super Jumbo Sticks (sku# 606798)
Home Depot - Winwax stain (Golden Oak 210B and just a touch of Dark Walnut 2716)
Clear spray - Valspar clear satin
Adhesive - Cant remember where I got it. It's a 3M product from a long time ago. Just look for something thin.
Cut the wood 5cm x 2.4cm for best results. After sanding, you should end up around 4.9cm x 2.3cm for a perfect fit. I used a flat head screw driver to create wood grain patterns and deeper knots. Stain with as many coats until you like the color.
