A PINSIDER’S WINTER PROJECT AWAITS!

Three years ago just before the birth of my second daughter I decided for relaxation I was going to buy this project Funhouse and restore it. With two children, now 3 and 5, reality has sunk in and I realize I won’t have time for this puppy for another 15 years.

The playfield is IPB, looks fabulous, and I was told it was in their “firsts” category. My understanding is that these are extremely difficult to come by these days, and while Mirco may certainly do I reproduction, respectfully I personally don’t find those playfields to be of the same quality as IPB.

I purchased a new plastics set (reproduction) from LSOG (I believe). I don’t have to tell you any white film or haze you see on the decals in the pic is nothing more than the film that protects them. Peel it back and they’re beautiful.

Also includes a set of Rudy Eyes (have no clue why I purchased them) and a spare trap door.

* Details of the Game Itself *
Game boots, lights up, and plays
New Rottendog CPU board has been installed and LEDs on startup indicate no issues
Sound is great
GI lighting has no issues or connector burn on board
Flippers all work, but certainly need to be rebuilt
Needs all new rubbers
Right ramp is cracked (but doesn’t effect gameplay) – I’d put two new ramps in
Trap Door works properly
Rudy works great, with the exception of “rudy’s eyes closed” (solenoid #27 – I hear it firing but eyes don’t shut)
Tunnel Kickout and Upper Jet Bumper (Solenoids #4 and #10 respectively) don’t work
Ball trough kickout solenoid makes a noise but doesn’t move
Display works, but certain segments are out here and there, although works 100% in display test (I’d replace the display)
Playfield glass is scratched - I'd certainly replace it
Nearly all the switches, targets, and Optos work with a few out here and there and others that need to be cleaned/adjusted as they work intermittently

I’ve tried to include as many pictures as possible and provide as much information as I can in an effort of total transparency.

So touch base with each other Gentlemen and work out what you each put in to get the number to $3k, one of you take the machine, the other takes the playfield, and decide who gets the plastics set.
