This is a 100% totally taken apart project Creature from the Black Lagoon project machine. I am selling it for a customer that someone else started doing a high end restore on and then he never finished it and gave up in this project. Lots of new parts and pieces for the machine, but is it 100% here, I can't say yes all the parts here, since I did not take it apart... New cabinet, new clear coated playfield, new ramp, custom powder coating, etc.... So if you are looking for a project CFTBL this is the one for you... My customer has WAY TOO MUCH into the machine and his loss is your gain

Make is a fair offer on this machine and we will go from there, lots of money has been put into this uncompleted restoration. Please don't offer me $2,000 to $4,000 for this machine my customer is not willing to sell it for this.

Yes, I know it's a project

Pick up only, I will not ship this machine since it is all taken apart.

Damn... take the 7k and run....fast

#5 1 year ago

How do I market to buyers like the current owner? Wow!!

#6 1 year ago
Quoted from HemiOrange09:

He has about $20,000 into it

As someone who does restorations, I find this hard to believe...

No fuckin way...

#7 1 year ago

Well he was taken advantage of by someone that is no longer offering their services anymore and wants to be done with it. And I am picking up the pieces of this one.

Here I was thinking 4-5k tops it’s a large headache/risk picking up a game that is in pieces. No matter what said game is. All it would take is one missing unobtainable mechanism and now you’re scrambling to get the thing even functioning

I know this and it's not my choice to say what he wants to sell it for.. I'm just the middle man trying to help him out of this mess. It's his money and his loss... It just depends how much he is willing to loose.

I’m pretty surprised you’re putting your rep on the line trying to talk up a project Creech that’s in pieces and it “might” be complete

Agree 100% no fucking way and why would we need a middle man on a project pin. Get rid of the middle man and it could be had cheaper.

Why would I do that... ??? That would be false advertising it. I calling it a project for a reason and I didn't take it apart so I wouldn't know if it's all here... I know there are lots of new parts and with someone that wants to make the time it could be a nice machine again

#13 1 year ago
Quoted from HemiOrange09:

The best offer I have now is $7,000.00 and my customer would like more for it... He has about $20,000 into it with the core machine and all of the new parts, playfield, cabinet, rad cals and pieces... I know this is not your problem and he knows he is taking a loss on it.
So please don't offer me $2,000 to $3,000 for this machine.
Yes I know it's a project

I don’t know why anyone would risk 7k for a game that might not be complete.

My customer is a plug and play person. He doesn't work in machines and doesn't want to. And he doesn't have the time to deal with it.

Exactly why $7K should be taken and then run off to the hills like you just robbed a bank. Nowhere near enough info to know if the buyer is getting something that will tally up to a full game or if it's a monster headache. This will never sniff $20K, nor will it sniff $15K, or even $10K. Creech's (esp w/o Mike D. mod) are still less than $10K working and complete. Why would a bunch of Creech parts that may or may not add up to a fully functioning machine even sniff $10K???

The more I think about it. The $7K offer was from a moron... a moron you and your seller should take advantage of at this point.
