This machine was shipped to me from a previous owner in nonworking condition. There were issues with the player not powering on, giving an E-02 laser sled error, and the tray not opening. It would power on, but intermittently. When it was shipped to me it arrived with a broken power supply board due to the transformer not being correctly secured before it was packed. What appears to be a laser sled limit switch actuator has also come loose and is included.

I'm confident the electronics work, but the power supply board needs replacement and the disc transport needs to be re-assembled to correct a timing issues with the gears. I don't see any broken mechanical parts, only the broken board.

The player was used in a high school library and is very clean internally, so low mileage. It's essentially a CLD-S201 so many if not all parts should fit that model. I'm asking $65 before shipping. I accept PayPal.

Bump for any potential Laserdisc guys.

Crash, are there still laserdisc users around?
I haven't thought about LDs for years until I read your post..
I have an old player and about 25 discs in a closet. Now I will have to dig them out.
    Good luck with the sale!

There are, believe it or not. I bought this one followed by another working one to get into software preservation of the discs themselves (for file-based playback without needing a player as the discs and players are quickly wearing out).
