I am not self employed (currently) but work policy allows for internet usage so long as it does not have a negative impact on production. Many studies actually show that allowing employees to use work resources/ internet throughout the day boosts production, morale, and engagement. It works for me! The ability to have a pinside window open in the background makes work go a heck of a lot better each day. My employer also seems to be quite happy with my performance so it seems to be a win/win.

This is an area that I actually work in and consult on so I know your are spot on with your retort 
as with everything moderation is important as well as trust, empowerment and engaging with your employees etc. Although not everyone can cope with the responsibility of self governance like you and everyone else on pinside can (phew, had to say that to stop the flaming potential ) which is where Internet proxies come into the equation. Unfortunately over the years I have had to give a lot of people some bad news because they cannot control the power they have been given if you know what I mean but thankfully these events are fewer and further between because of clearer policies and better expectation management (at the employer and employee levels). 
My previous post was just a cheeky comment about bumping but hey, you already knew that right.

No, this is what I would want to do as well, I still can't believe that someone would pass on having a brand new PF with this game, like it would be perfect and as new. I know the original is in good nick but it was soooo easy to get the NIB look and feel for another grand, just glad you are not on my continent as I would have pulled the trigger first and asked questions later on the package deal.
