FS: Nicest Original No Good Gofers? NGG HUO(?) -Cincinnati

Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Price

$ 6,000

Yep, you read the title right. Up for sale is probably the nicest original No Good Gofers out there in existence.

This game is bone stock and nothing has been done to it. I was scared that I would ruin the integrity of what it is, so I didn't LED it or install any sticker decals or mods. I picked this up from a family that told me (and after inspecting the game originally, I believed them) that they unboxed this game brand new. The father was a very large Golf hobbiest, and added this to his basement as a trophy to look at. I literally don't think this game was played - please take a look at that shooter lane!

This game is 100% working and flips and rolls like the way a brand new Stern would. It's truly remarkable to see a machine like this in person as it is literally perfect. I'm sure with an asking price like mine, any potential person interested would want additional pictures. If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll be happy to take any pictures you would like to see.

I never thought I would sell this one, but I'm running out of room, and having machines in storage seems like a waste to me. This machine is also in such nice condition that I get a little anxiety playing it.

Game is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Yeah I put that dirt on there. It has since been cleaned up

This is probably the nicest original one out there unless somebody else has a NIB. You do have a super nice one though!

That's not a good sales tactic lol.

I have a HUO NGG that prob had less than 100 plays on it - plays better than any new Stern I've ever had....and I bought Sterns when they were made relatively well...today's garbage though? Yeah - don't compare this game to a Stern. It's much better.

I think that is an oxymoron and not a great selling point

#10 6 years ago

Oh crap! Thinking the same thing as rarehero.... pinside is going to implode.

Of course Pinside is going to implode, he has a rare condition classic and I isn't giving it away, you couldn't restore one and have it this nice for $6k total though. Condition is king and only the cry babies complain about price and compare it to average and historic sales price. I don't have a dog in the fight though, I sold my NIB NGG last year..... for a lot more than this.

Not yet and hopefully the PP stay away.

That's because NGG was one of the blow out pins back in the day, they couldn't sell them all and operators bought them heavily discounted and held on to them. From what I hear NGG didn't do so well on route, especially when AFM and MM came along not much longer after NGG.

Afm and mm were out before ngg especially afm was years before. Ngg was near the end of b/w ......

My fault, NGG and MM were the same year, AFM was first. Either way, NGG just couldn't compete.

Intersting I always thought the extra coin box security bar on the front were added by operators.
But there it is on a nib game still in the box. Awesome looking super clean game glws!

Yeah a lot of the games came that way from the factory.

Is this the friendliest for sale add with this many posts that has ever been created on pinside?!?!?!?!?No one screaming about price or how the OP is crazy OR how NGG is stupid and overrated?!?!?!?

I just had to get in before some asshat turns this thing to shit.

Man, what the heck is wrong with you guys? I have a HUO NGG we bought NIB in 1999 and it has probably 3000+ plays on it. Play the games, that's why they're built!

Had. Had. When I bought it. It now has tons, cuz I do play my games.

I bought it from Marty Ingels - he was the voice of Pac-Man in the 80's cartoon. He had an arcade in his house for the grandkids, who clearly barely played the NGG...zero slam ramp wear, perfect shooter lane & the gophers had no paint loss. He also had some light gun shooters & a Daytona USA twin. The grandkids were grown up and his wife (Shirley Jones from The Partridge Family) wanted to turn the arcade into a normal room.

Hopefully it didn't ship with Batteries Installed. Otherwise you might not have the nicest.

This is gorgeous; tempting; but have to pay down some of these credit card bills...

Hmm maybe compared to MM and AFM... but I don't see too many true HUO gofers . It does play a lot different , my flippers are so powerful makes the hole in one a lot harder .
