Im needing some room and cash, so Im putting my skateball up for sale. Plays great and the playfield is actually pretty nice. A lot of skateball playfields have the entire center area blown out, but this one has full mylar. There is some wear on in a few spots where the mylar didn't cover, but the playfield is still in nice shape. It looks like someone got the left flipper a little too close to the playfield and it made a mark in the mylar, but it looks like it did not reach the playfield itself.
I hesitate to say the backglass is perfect, but it is pretty darn nice. No flaking or blemishes that I've seen. The game has a new altek MPU and I replaced one of the score displays with an repro LED one. The cabinet is in decent shape, but has the typical scratches. This game would be really nice if someone wanted to redo the cabinet. All the bulbs are incandescent other than the leds in the backbox to make sure the glass doesn't get too hot. I do realize that the top left flipper should be a mini flipper. I just didn't care enough to track one down. This is a really fun game that I would put right up there with eight ball deluxe. I was planning on restoring this game, so I have the complete bottom and some of the top of another playfield. I can throw all those parts in for a few extra bucks.
