Yup, and you open that sealed Zelda box and now that game is worth $10 like the rest of them. maybe less, because it won't work because of battery damage.

actually I was talking about the zelda cartridge. Zelda was the first game to introduce battery backup. Sealed one would be leaky and destroy the cartridge rendering it useless for play.

Maybe not, I had a DE time machine with original batteries from 88 in them, and they still worked and wern't leaking.

Would you spend 15k to open it up and look? I think those sealed ones, will remain sealed for the rest of their existence.
