Replace your Doctor Who Bi-Directional motor board with this updated version made by @pellew. If the ball gets stuck between the main playfield and the mini-playfield, no longer do you risk motor/gearbox damage. This board will sense this condition and reverse the mini-playfield. The board also has on board adjustment for setting the up/down speed of the mini/playfield. Can also run wires from the board to the front of the coin door to control the mini-playfield to operate it while in test mode, a very handy feature. This board will work with the existing game and with the new Linear Cam retrofit kit made by Ulf. Please ask any question before purchasing if you are unsure. This has not been out into a game or used in any way, but works 100%. Thank you for viewing.

Interesting application for a micro-controller.

I have one of these boards in my pinball. It works as advertised. When the variable resistors are set up according to instructions (which are easy), if the MPF Jams with a stuck ball (which has happened to me), it reverses direction and does no damage to gear box and motor.

Bought 2, Only used one and it is a great little board that is not difficult to set up to help save your game as Tophervette can attest to.
