As a card carrying hater of the LE model I have to admit I love the shit out of my METLE. Best art package and mirrored backglass + one of the best games Stern has ever made = happiness.
That's why I keep working on new mods for it, because I intend to keep this one. 
I'd have jumped at $6900, I paid a few hundred more for mine. No regrets!
I own METLE too... LOVE IT, it's awesome game! OP that's a great price you're offering too.

A METLE just sold here for $6700.00, and now this one has dropped to $6800.00. Further proof of the declining market value. I remember the frenzy over these a week after release, and how people were paying $9k or more for them.
Now they are selling for just a couple hundred more than the Premium version cost NIB.

I agree about the market. However, if there was one game I would drop another $6,800 on it would be this one by far. Personally, I think the price is too low regardless of what another game sold for. I agree with the comment that this is Stern's MM.
