but yeah beautiful pin, love to own this baby.
Quoted from beelzeboob:You're right. There are also tons of beautiful violins out there, too. But only a few can be called a Stradivarius.
Actually there have been a few double blinded studies comparing a multiple 300 year old Stradavarius violins to modern violins made within a month of the test. Uniformly the professional violinists liked the sound of the newer violins better than the 300 year old ones. That being said collectors and violinist purchase a Strads for other reasons than sound quality.

I buy a pin to play it pure and simple. The collectability part is just secondary to me.

And this collectable pin plays like gangbusters. An "incredible light show".
Well, it was a fun week with lots of emails and offers. Unfortunately just not one I could live with. Now wasn't apparently the time for a sale. Best of luck to all the new MMr owners!
Don't throw on the towel. Some, like me, are figuring out how to get the cash. Might have to divert it from other projects.
Quoted from Hawkeyepin:You guys have went full nerd....actually I'm going to say "turbo nerd".
Funniest thing I have read on a pinball forum in a long time. Thanks for the laugh!

Quoted from labnip:yep. the trim on this MM is amazing. that was my hope for MMR gold.
No quite the same. I really hate the gold trim on MMr.
