Quoted from whoknowsgoi:id do for this price shipped
This is a fair offer. If you sold it at your $5500 ebay price, you'd pay $400 in fees. Sell here is end up at $49500 and help a pinsider out
Man, that pin is beautiful. I would love to own it one day, but I need more space and money before that happens.

You have a good point! Whoknowsgoi give me a call if you are serious
Quoted from toro1966:Your machine, but it is worth every bit of 5k plus shipping - not a penny less.
Who wants to make the first offer of $5k and take it?

I am guessing toro has NO interest in buying a second LOTR. It is a good game, but not that good.
Seems like toro has reason to keep sales high in case he wants to sell his machine, wouldn't want the price trend to go down....

If you were an east coaster I'd turn around my lightly routed one for this. Nice looking game.
Quoted from kwiKimart:If I had the cash, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
You would enjoy it kwiki
Quoted from centerflank:LOTR's are 5.5K all day!
Of course they are. We own them. Now it's time for someone to chime in with one of my favorites: "I wouldn't sell my LOTR(or insert other game of choice) for anything less than 6k(or insert other stupid number here). Although mines not going anywhere."
Quoted from sammiesguys:"I wouldn't sell my LOTR for anything less than 7k
Completely agreed but mines not going anywhere.
Edit- vvvv- Well said Mr.T, great bang for buck 4sho!

Im not going to comment on the price of this particular game.
But of the games listed in the top twenty that have prices that have gone up, I consider LOTR to be the best value. For what it costs, I have gotten more enjoyment out of it than any of the other games I own. It's hard to consider an expensive game a bang/buck game, but I think LOTR is as close as it gets.
And in a small collection, I can't think of many games that have more staying power. Just my IMO.

that's spot on
I paid about $6900 (with shipping) for my HUO LOTR LE a couple months back. It has numerous mods and I plan on keeping it for a really long time.
I did sell a standard LOTR which was a routed game with a nice playfield for $4500 recently. It had some marks on the cabinet and Cliffy's in the needed areas. I think the $5k for a nice HUO is a no-brainer for someone to purchase.
Seriously, if you have been looking for a LOTR, it sounds like this machine would be too hard to pass up.
If you could hold it for me for about five years I would take it. As it stands, I just don't have the resources
