Comes with LEDs already and powder coated rails, the 2 mods that BR likes to do most. He could put Hemi's mods in, or new posts I guess. Probably more likely he will just play the hell out for a while.

LOL! This was a entertaining super fast sale on pinside that was interesting to follow. You see unlike you he gave full disclosure and than did not go back and erase all his pics and posts like a dog with it's tail between it's legs running. You should make a post apologizing for your immature for sale post and beg for internet forgiveness (sarcasm).
I want a video of B_R playing this one after a few drinks, should be entertaining to say the least with all the tight shots.
Cobray no amount of code or tweaking to Wolverine in the world will make the beast shot or professor less tight than they are. The magneto magnet was just to unpredictable to be fun for me at least. If I was a ace player I bet X-men would be a favorite, really taught me about the value of playing a game before buying it. Videos will not tell you if you like a game despite how cool it looks. Don't miss it as much as I though I would.
Congrats on the sale and to those pining for that extra 500 sure seems over and over lately the LE is worth closer to 5k if you actually want to sell the sucker maybe a few 100 more for Wolverine. No doubt stern lowered the value and more importantly worth to many when they brought our "new and improved" code.

...and it took all of 7 hours to sell. I think the seller could have got his asking price of $5500 if he would have let it set for a couple of days or maybe by just waiting until midnight of 2/11/13.
Anyway...it was entertaining to see it go down. I'm glad the seller and buyer both got what they were looking for.

BR, once again you found a great value. LE for 20% less than most people paid. Same handful of haters , obviously most of us like the game. always better to pay 20%. Less for a new LE than 75% more as some are doing on others.

Bugs, lack of nuance/combos, and quite frankly - Stern's lack of communication is making it more of a bummer than it needs to be.

Simplify it for you-
Every game has people that don't like it for one reason or another.
Some people don't like the way it flows...Rob T as an example.
Some people don't like super heroes, or are tired of too many super hero pins, or just hate theme...
Some people don't like the tight shots and like things more open... Starbase
Some people don't like the crap they had to go through with the Aux. board and got turned off from the game by having it down for so long...
Most people like you and I are waiting for code and are pissed by the lack of communication, but I totally understand why people might not like the game. Everything you said is true, and I feel it is teetering on being a great pin with new code, but everybody that doesn't like it has legit reasons. I can't argue with their points, and they aren't going to change my opinion on flow, shots, modes, theme, and art.
BR got it for such a great price, he had to pull the trigger.

X-men really burnt a lot of NIB customers. They marketed it to homeowners, but didn't get it that collectors are a very anal bunch. Collectors like mint aesthetics looking machines, with polished code and features that are heads and shoulders above the regular version. Econ 101: know your market. Collectors are not going to eat crappy code. If you pay more, you should expect more.
Many people saw the "Power" pack as weak sauce and think Stern is not going to fix things. They are done and want to cash out on whatever is left on the bone to get something else as there are more options than ever before and people aren't patient.

This could have been written about TFLE. At this point I don't blame Stern as they are consistent in how they handle their game releases. Until people change their spending habits there is no reason for Stern to change how they sell.

Update to the thread, I now own this Xmen LE. I lost in the bidding process but still got the pin. I did not own an Xmen and wanted to give the pin a second chance. Black Rose traded me this Xmen for the Iron Man I purchased from Bill in MI. I do think its fun to see where these pins travel to and from. I think its headed to Ohio if the kids dont like it. We are walking over to play it some now. The pin sure is pretty, the blue looks so good. I have ordered a FF speaker kit in case I keep it.
Enjoy it Buddy !!! It still has Less than 100 Total play's .. I'm Loving IM !! Thank You for keeping Yr word ...
