Listing this for a friend.

HUO TWD LE. #318 of 600. He has had it for only 1 week and unfortunately needs to sell it. Game is MINT (obviously, it just came out of the box). As of this posting it has only 28 plays on it. Not looking for any trades. Asking $7,000 OBO. Would prefer local pick up. Located in Naperville, IL.

Where does it say Stern. I thought it was made by AMC.

I had a v8 gremlin back in the 80s, that thing was fun to drive. It would smoke the tires all day long.

I had a 401 AMC V-8 on an engine stand for the longest time. I was looking for a V-8 Gremlin to install it in (Gremlin came with a 304, but same outside dimensions). I put it in a CJ-7 instead.

#21 9 years ago

Me too! Supercharged V8! Porche!...bah...I left em' in the dust! I had to put extra weight in the front so it wouldn't lift! Great car!

#23 9 years ago

Wish you were closer. I am thinking of picking up a new one but would love to save some money and get this gently used one. Shipping costs hurt it! would it ship in the original box with foam, etc?

#24 9 years ago

great price..very tempting

#25 9 years ago

That is one killer price

#26 9 years ago

Thai machine still available

I am 4.5 hours away

#27 9 years ago

For someone close by with no shipping costs, you are getting a great deal.

#28 9 years ago

Dang, I wish you were alot closer!!!! Always afraid of shipping a pin.

I agree with you Coast, and I own SM, LOTR and AC/DC, the other "best of Stern" group, TWD is right up there

REALLY.......

PM's have been replied to those that sent them!

Are you serious? I don't have any pics of the shooter lane but it looks no different than one that is still in the box. The game has less than 40 plays on it.

Oh yeah, may the sale of the pin be smooth and straightforward, in other words, GLWTS

#36 9 years ago

I'm not, I really wanted this machine but after seeing sooo many for sale, I understand others hesitation. I hope you get what you want, sorry your freind has to sell it.

#38 9 years ago

If this was clooser id try it out but shipping makes it not the best deal

LOL - there has only been 1 (maybe 2?) used TWD LE's that have come up for sale ever.
This is "sooo many" Of course there are NIB ones for sale -> it's a new game!

There have been 4 LE's and twice as many pros. The pins only been out for a little over a month now. Believe me I want one really bad but the volatility of the market has prevented it.

#42 9 years ago

You are nuts! Thad a stupid price for a fun game and amazing theme .

#43 9 years ago

Friendly bump on a great priced game. Too bad on no trades. Someone will be getting a nice deal.

Quoted from bigd1979:

I dont get this. How does shipping not make it worth it? Even if it costs you $500 to ship it, its still $500 cheaper than a NIB. That's not even including the tax or shipping that you'd have to pay on the NIB. After tax or shipping this one is 800-1000 cheaper than a NIB and this machine is as close to NIB you will get without the box opening experience.

I have only seen 1 other LE for sale and they wanted 500 more than this one. Where are the other 2??

#45 9 years ago
Quoted from Tseamans:

There have not been 4 used LE's for sale - only this 1 and 1 in Arizona. The others have all been NIB.

Regardless, 2 or 4 is not a big number and doesn't really indicate anything. Some people (like here) run into a financial situation and need to sell for funds, others find the game is not for them, and others sell if they worry it won't hold it's value. Obviously you are concerned about the value when you sell more than if it's the right game for you - and there's nothing wrong with that either - it is a lot of money. But again, this isn't an unusual number of LE's for sale, or PRO's for that matter.

No background, location or collection entered. I'm skeptical.

Show me 4 LE's for sale and twice as many pros that weren't coming from distros and people that "need to sell". Total BS.

When you get a chance to buy "cheaper" one would usually take advantage of that if one was truly interested. It's not a stock. It's a pinball machine

#47 9 years ago

Really good price on this. Wish I could grab it.

#48 9 years ago

Nobody should even consider hesitating buying this title. I am almost ready to say best STERN ever! Maybe I just did. lololol

#49 9 years ago

I made up my mind and i want a TWDLE down the road someday. I was thinking about offering my BIBLE as tradebait but so far i only get NIB responses. I'm looking for huo because i'm looking to play the hell out of it!
And we know once you open the box the prices come down. I'm not willing to take the hit for it anymore. I've done it 7 times (NIB), and the ones i've sold i lost at least 1000 euro on it. Only Tron LE and BIBLE will be in the clear if i ever sell them (at this day at least ).
It surprises me that at this price it hasn't been sold yet!
Seems like a steal! Really curious where TWDLE will settle eventually. In the TRON LE regions or the Xmen/avengers regions. Or somewhere in between? Time, like always will tell.

That's BS...if you really wanted it, to play and enjoy, you'd get it. This is a $1000 discount on a brand new game.
