Damn it underlord...I forgot what I was going to say.

Oh yeah.....The STLE is quite possibly the best looking pin I have ever seen. I'm a Trekkie so I guess that helps.
GLWTS.....I really wish I had the cash.

#19 9 years ago

I would cave in at $6400

#20 9 years ago
Quoted from Pbpins:

I would cave in at $6400

I think a lot of people would at that price point

#21 9 years ago

GLWS fantastic price for a killer game! Warp speed for someone to buy this!

#22 9 years ago

A local seller went to $6800 and it sold next day.......At $7000, people will start coming out of the wood works.

At that price I would not have a choice but to abuse my credit card a little.

#24 9 years ago

Sorry guys $7,000 is absolute bottom dollar

Yeah right, I bet you'd take $6999

#26 9 years ago

What were these shipped?

#28 9 years ago

These will get a boost when the code comes out I think. Right now it seems like the price is stagnant on them... On the plus side if you buy this now you will have a new game whenever there is a code update!

No mods? Every time I see an LE for sale I get depressed. I love my Pro but I really want the eye candy. GLWS

I'm with you. I was going to go for the pro version but I can't get past all the "candy" that the LE comes with. Is it worth the extra $$$$ just for bling????? I think it is for me!

#32 9 years ago

If I had the cash readily or otherwise available....I would have already dood it!!!

Depends on how badly you want that bling. I decided I had to have the LE, now that I've had it a few weeks, I'm not sure why I was on the fence for so long - me like the bling!

#34 9 years ago

I WANT THE BLING!!!!!

Seriously...I could just sit and watch that thing in attract mode for hours and not get bored.

Other pinsiders have quoted that they paid 7100-7400 NIB shipped.

I think the full range of NIB STLE was 7100 to 8000.

here is a post from Gambit who ended up trading his after having it for sale for a bit and not getting the offers he was looking for

Quoted from gambit3113:

I think 7100-7400 shipped was the range NIB. I dropped to $6800 and had a few nibbles before the trade was made, but no one was jumping at it. I kept running into people telling me they see selling from. $6100 (routed one on fire sale) to $6500 (HUO supposedly sold in Cali off the board, but I saw no confirmation).

Nobody paid $7100.00 shipped on the initial release.

We've been over this before.

I contacted almost every distributor at the time, and I couldn't come anywhere close to this price. $7,800 was much more typical.

Exactly. And I actually paid just a tad more than that. And I know of 2 others locally who paid more than $7700.00.

Maybe now's the time to upgrade to the STLE? Just sold my premium about a month ago. Great price. Hate paying for shipping. Necessary evil it seems.....

#40 9 years ago

I was buying one new and it was in the high 7's - I backed out in protest - as I am now one of those who won't buy nib off stern - I will buy it huo or routed from now on. that being said what you paid has nothing to do with what it's worth on the market.

the market sets the price - 7000 seems like a fair price to me - it's the summer slow season. so who knows - I got to play the game sunday and I was really impressed with it.

I will grab one soon - thanks ed

My buddy picked up a NIB earlier this year for $7400 delivered from a reputable distributor. I was tempted to pick one up myself because it was a nice deal, but the timing was bad.

#42 9 years ago

I find it interesting that you know what everyone paid...

I know of 2 STLEs that were pre-ordered @ $7100 shipped...and got to help unbox one of them.

I paid $7100 NIB shipped but got lucky and won a no reserve auction on Ebay. This was a one-off sale so doesn't reflect the market compared to the 100s that sold higher.

Tell us your dealer so we can order from them in the future.

There it is...right there......."Hundreds that sold higher". Not thousands....hundreds. Right now is a great opportunity to own what should become a rare game in the years to come at a good price now. If there was anyway I could swing it, I would. (not to say I'm not trying).... Doing my best to rearrange funds and liquidize some assets.

Tapping into some accounts require a very significant penalty that I can't justify at this point in time, no matter what the yield may be. Right now it's all speculative. Just saying I want to play the game REALLY BAD just doesn't cut it.....yet.

#46 9 years ago

I just got a used one and the "Bling" is over the top and I am a classic guy. I like the game. We will see when the code comes out that adds a few more features but for what I have. I LIKE IT>!!!!

Please do not raid your retirement accounts to buy a pinball machine.
