Selling a HUO Iron Man "Classic" for a friend. The game is in mint condition as seen by the pics. Played it for the first time tonight and it played surprisingly good, considering the bad wrap these machines got. The only issue we are having is two of 8 LED columns are not lighting. Should be able to easily fix as some of the LEDs come on when the machine is in power up mode (If anyone has a clue as to what could be wrong, please help). I have listed some of the differences between the Classic & regulare version. PM me if you have any questions. I have two offers in the cue, this won't last. For the price this is selling for, the parts are worth more. Cash & carry. $1800 OBO

Classic
-Different software
-Boards in base cabinet
-Leds on circuit boards
-No magnets, i.e. Monger, Whip Lash
-No War Machine Kick back
-No coin door
-Press board for cabinet
-Let me know if I missed something?????

Couldn't be more right. Rip the costco version all you want, that is a good price.

Blind?

I agree as well, no bashing on this being the classic model when you offer it up at such a good price.

#19 11 years ago

Seems like alot of game for the money...especialy if you havent played or owned a pro yet...

that would be the only downside here..

would make a great first pin for somebody

Not according to the Pinball News article

Am I missing the punchline? Didn't this still sell new for $4k? Seems like a helluva markdown for a pin that's only 2 years old, or are home versions really that tainted?

#22 11 years ago

Great price indeed! Good pin for someone who wants a cool game to play but isn't into the hobby like we are. And it would certainly help if that person has not played the pro.

#23 11 years ago

For that price, it's really tempting to find out just how differently the Pro plays from the Classic. I'd assume the differences really aren't *that* pronounced. I do wonder how many of these got made...

I'd actually rather have TDK's cost cut version, I think.

This is the stripped down version that sold for about $3K originally. I think the seller is on target with his price.

Surprise this didnt sell a few days ago when listed in market. Sure it's slightly slimmed down. So is the price by about 2.5k
