I have a nice, clean 1976 Gottlieb Volley electro-mechanical pinball machine for sale. It was shopped late last year and is working 100% and plays well. There is some playfield wear but no major paint loss. The backglass looks excellent. There are a few scuffs on the cabinet and back box. Inside it's very clean. I have added premium leg levelers. It is wired for free play, so just press the start button and you are good to go.

I listed this in the Market for $500 but I am open to offers or trades for other machines plus cash as needed.

Price reduced to $600. I would love to sell this before this weekend.

#6 10 years ago

Somebody make me an offer... my wife is giving me the evil eye.

#7 10 years ago

If you were closer, I'd offer 400, fun machine. Sorry, gl.

#8 10 years ago

Just saw this. I'm really thinking about this one. I'm quite a drive still but looks like it'd be worth it. Hmmmm...

#9 10 years ago

I'm a lot of things but I'm not quite a drive. This would be quite a drive.

road trip!

we can rent us a tractor trailer and pick up a bunch of machines in illinois, wisconsin and ohio on the way back...

Free bump for a nice looking game! I will have one of these someday

1 week later
#12 10 years ago

Bump again... price reduced one more time.

#13 10 years ago

In this area of Canada your pin would easily be priced at $900 to $1000. With haggle room, it would go out the door at $800 to $950. The photos of this pin show a pin in excellent condition, it looks really really nice. Sorry I am not close enough, either.

#14 10 years ago

Volley is a fun pin. Ours gets played a lot. Good luck.

#15 10 years ago

Still available.

Bump for a good pin that deserves more attention that it gets, in part as a piece of social history.

#17 10 years ago

Should have picked this up while I was at the Showdown!

#18 10 years ago

Steal of a price for a clean, working, super fun wedgehead in much better than average shape. Add me to the "wish I was closer" list. I'd happily pay $500 for this machine in a heartbeat.

BUMP!

BUMP!

Ditto

Me too. Great price for a solid Gottlieb in very good condition. A steal to say the least!

#21 10 years ago

That playfield looks brand new. If I was in CO I'd easily cough up $500. Maybe even 5000, when lit.

#22 10 years ago

No shit, it's on Ebay for a buy it now price too!

#23 10 years ago

Can't believe this isn't gone for that price. Great EM in great shape -- not heading to NC soon are you?

Unfortunately no out-of-state car trips anytime soon.

After shopping for a new machine for the last few months and not finding one, and at the same time having a tough time selling this one, I have come to the conclusion that the Denver pinball market is somewhat constipated.

#25 10 years ago

Uggghh, I still want this! May have to suck it up and dddddddddddrive.

#26 10 years ago

GLWS!

#27 10 years ago

Honestly, were I closer, I'd buy yours and sell mine. This is a great deal.

#28 10 years ago

Good Luck with the sale. I bought the VOLLEY that was in the Free Play area at Allentown 2 weeks ago - a deal that went together during the week AFTER the show.

I highly recommend this game for anyone who seeks a quality EM addition to the collection.

This is a Fun Fun Game!

Sold this morning to a fellow Pinsider whom I very much enjoyed meeting and talking pinball with.

Chris,

When the party is going on, you are welcome to stop by and say hello to your old Volley and play a game or 7.

Thank you for selling me this righteous deck!

Curious to see (for me anyway)....another VOLLEY Pinball has just turned up locally for sale today on CL.

cnj.craigslist.org link

It appears the pricing is "optimistic" (i.e. 2x -3x Market) - at least based on the OP's listed price for HIS Volley and also the price I purchased MINE for on May 6th (same title - Excellent Condition).

Having said that, I shall not step into "Price Police" Territory - it's not my style. We shall let the market decide. The market shall bear what it will bear.

#32 10 years ago

Congrats on sale!

#33 10 years ago

Well, for that price I'd be sorely tempted to sell mine.

I don't think anyone would accuse you of being the Price Police by stating $1700 is 2x/3x market value for that machine. Certainly not me.

I also noticed another one went up for sale in KC (at a much more realistic asking price):

Don't do it! Quality games are only going up in value. It'll be worth 27k in 2020. HA!

#36 10 years ago

maybe 27k in 2020, and at least 10k by Christmas

$600-$800 would be a typical the price in the Michigan area for a very good condition Volley.
