<<<<<<<<SOLD>>>>>>>>

Fs: 1980 Stern "Big Game" widebody pinball. It has been completely gone through and thoroughly shopped. The backglass is very nice for its age, with no lifting or flaking paint. All the major mechanisms have been rebuilt and cleaned, all burnt bulbs replaced, all new flippers, stripped polished and waxed playfield. I have been working on this game 12 hours a day for the past 6 days to get it ready in time for Christmas. Boards are very clean with no acid damage or evidence of hacks. The game includes an operators manual, receipts of parts purchased (over $100 worth), extra bulbs, new leg levelers, new leg bolts, freshly painted legs (not pictured). $1000 Cash and carry text 5705349732

A complete breakdown of work:

Flippers rebuilt with new sleeves, new bats, new EOS switches
Pop bumpers rebuilt with new coil sleeves
All burnt bulbs replaced.
All three banks of drop targets rebuilt, cleaned and adjusted.
All bulbs removed, cleaned, inserts cleaned, sockets cleaned
Entire playfield was stripped down to nothing, cleaned, polished, then recieved 4 coats of Meguiars Gold Class Carnuba Wax (The only wax I recomend for pinball machines)
New capacitors on power supply.
New ball
Reflowed solder on all board header pins and suspected cold solder joints.
Cleaned and lubed coin-mechs (you could run this on location if you desire)
New rubber throughout
Cleaned and polished playfield plastics, star posts, spinners
All switches cleaned and adjusted for maximum sensitivity.
All displays have re-soldered header pins, and burnt 10K ohm resistors replaced.
and probably more im forgettingPC180403.JPG

I'm just about ready to sell my Comet, just have to fix the last issue with the display decoder output and do a few more little tweaks. Has new xPin displays in it (blue), was totally shopped/rebuilt (new sleeves, rubber, coil springs, pops rebuilt, new flipper coils, flipper rebuild, switches cleaned and adjusted), PF restored/cleared and documented on here. Something like 70+ hrs work and over $1000 into it... Backglass isn't the greatest (faded), and the ramp was repaired as well with lexan plastic. Corkscrew ramp is also a repair job. New cycle jump ramp though (with non 1/16" blister-pack thin plastic). Not perfect, but plays well. Being realistic despite my work into it, thinking of asking $850. I'll post some pictures soon.

I have a beautiful Theatre of Magic available. Originally looking for a trade for CV, but nothing has materialized. Game has a great cabinet, color DMD, leds (super bright) all around. Theatre of Magic 2 004.JPGTheatre of Magic 2 004.JPGTheatre of Magic 2 004.JPG

You can see the game in action by going to Youtube, Todd Tuckey - Theatre of Magic, and look for the post dated 2/20/14.

Looking for $6000+ as a cash offer, or trade for WCS, CV, Spiderman red, Star Trek Pro, + cash.
The game is in excellent overall condition and plays perfectly. An ad will also appear on Mr. Pinball in a day or so.

No, the bolt is not missing. I need to "shortleg" some of my games due to the low ceiling in our 110 year old home. Lower hole on leg is on upper hole on cab.

Lee, thanks for the endorsement, and hope all is well with you.

How does this work, is the leg just shorter and both bolt holes still used or does this mean there's only one bolt being used?

#76 4 years ago

Only one bolt being used. Move the lower bolt to the upper hole. One does what one has to do when owning a house with lower ceilings.

#77 4 years ago

Pinrayhji has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met in this hobby. His collection, ever-changing as it is! It is one of the best and very unique in his house. I have a few bumps from his low ceilings and they were worth it!! GLWTS!

#78 4 years ago

A bump for a great Seller! And another bump for not bumping my head in Harry's cellar.

#83 4 years ago

I have a decent player's machine, Phantom of the Opera up if anyone is interested.

I picked this up about 2 months ago. Plenty of spare parts. Had burn in DOUBLE SCORE insert on left side. I can email photos if interested. New displays installed.
I was hoping to restore but have too many projects right now.

Looking for $1700 to cover my costs.
