For sale is a nice players condition comet. I haven't seen many comets in as good condition for this price, so could be a good deal for you.
game plays perfectly, here is some info
recently replaced the corkscrew ramp.
cycle jump ramp is cracked as seen in the picture, but still very good and they do make repros
center ramp cracked at entrance but does not affect game
regular planking on playfield and cabinet.
factory mylar was starting to bubble and come off, so previous owner removed a section, as seen in photos. I just have not gotten around to removing the rest of it, but seems to come up easily with no paint.
one small bad spot on the backglass near the corner
let me know if you have any questions or are interested, a good game for a good deal.

Yeah I saw one on here a month or so ago listed for much more but in terrible condition. I priced mine for a quick sale because I live in the middle of pinball nowhere

also included is the old corkscrew ramp, which had a hole knocked in it, but the previous owner "repaired" it somehow with some strange mesh-like tape

I cant believe you still have this. This one looks nicer than the one I restored. More people need to play this game, it is a perfect addition to a game room. Anyone can walk up to it and play and have fun. It is universally good.

Wish CPR would do the playfield for this game. It is such an iconic classic pin, they were everywhere back in the day, and instant time machine when you walk up and push start. Simple game, but fun simple.

You, me and everyone else who owns a Comet. They are all trashed. Weak topcoat + years of on location earning have destroyed most of them.

But hey - Stu and the guys at CPR will tell us "when there is demand".

Apparently, everyone who owns one of the highest-earning games in pinball history is not enough "demand" for CPR to actually run them. The artwork is done and sitting there, ready to be printed.

But we get to sit around and wait for CPR to tell us when they have enough "demand" for the PF. Good stuff!!

This is a tough sale unfortunately. I'm having a hard time myself, and I'm in central NJ. Makes no sense. I think a lot of people forget how good these sys9 games were or just haven't played them. With Comet the production # was really high too, but most out there are beat to hell, so you'd think someone would wants this for nostalgia if it is in decent shape like yours. I restored my pf and cleared it and still can't sell it.
