Yeah, should be universal, as long as you're installing in the same platform machine, otherwise you'll need to get the correct cables... and you'll have to flash them / update the code of course...

Newer sterns (metal head ones) are a pain to use with these because they changed the mounting posts and the angled part on the backbox has a lip.

A lot of messages regarding exactly what these color dmds are. All I can say is that they were the first four made that I ordered at the time (2 or 3 years ago) and never got around to installing them. You guys would know better than me which games they would work on. I assumed at the time they were game specific. Anyway, it's obviously over 1600 with shipping so I'm taking a loss. $350 is cash and carry price. So if you are local to NJ and were never an asshole to me, feel free to pm. If you were, you ain't getting them. Lol.

They may have the key code but it can be updated to work in any machine i believe

Just received this email from Randy at Color DMD. So these will work on other titles.

The early ColorDMDs were game specific but they can be unlocked by updating the product key. Information can be found on the yellow banner of the firmware SUPPORT page on our site.
